“Our stay was cancelled by the host less than 12 hours before we were due to arrive, we were already on the way to the apartment when we received the email that our stay had been cancelled, as we were driving from Kingston. We struggled to find accommodation so last minute, which cost us a lot more money than it would’ve been. ”

“First, I want to clarify that my feedback is based on the expectation set by the hotel’s presentation on hotels.com. From the descriptions and images provided, there was no indication that the accommodations would be hostel-like, particularly concerning shared bathrooms and showers. This discrepancy was surprising.
My intent is not to disparage but to express that the reality of our stay did not align with the expectations set by the advertisement. I believe transparency in the amenities...

“Although the location is spectacular, the cabins have a low level of comfort, they are dark, mosquitoes enter through some holes in the wood, the bathroom is outside (it is advertised, I know) and I think there are better rooms on the same property. I get the impression that decades ago they were used by slaves and now by tourists xD”
