Yall need better tv because I muted the tv & the it sounded like it was on 100 & house keeping came knocking on the door I did everything I could to turn it down but the sound was coming from the game.

We had such a great Christmas Eve and Christmas morning at the hotel! We stayed to be close to family. The staff team was overly accommodating and so pleasant to talk to! They went above and beyond for us. Will be back

Rented a room and did not realize nor was I informed that my card on file would not be accepted until I was attempting to check in as well as the entire hotel was under construction. Paying what I did to have limited access to all the amenities and to not be told when I booked that it would be under construction was extremely frustrating.

Dear Thomas,Thank you for your feedback. If you do not pay in advance, we do require that you present your credit card and your identification at check in. I apologize that you were not aware of the public space renovation. We send email alerts beginning 5 days prior to arrival to allow our valued guests to make alternate arrangements if the prefer to avoid the renovation impact. The good news is that all of our guest rooms have been completely renovated and the restaurant has remained open throughout the renovation. We will be complete in the next two weeks. I hope to have you stay with us again in the future!

Good Stay
They were in the process of remodeling. We got a new room. All good. A minor mention: They had Breakfast, but it wasn't free. Coffee was sold as Starbucks too.

Disappointed
The staff was very professional and very accommodating, but the condition of the hotel due to the construction was very disappointing, pool & fitness center both closed.

The staff were excellent however, this property was under heavy construction which made parking and getting to and from your room very difficult and inconvenient.

Check in was easy and the room is nice and clean! They are doing construction so you have to go through a different door because the main door is out of service but it wasn’t a hassle. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Safe, nice area.

Service was fabulous, room nicely appointed. We added a breakfast option that worked out perfect for us needing to hit an early morning appointment. Everyone was friendly and helpful! Registration was efficient and welcoming.

I was in Detroit for a training seminar and stayed here 3 nights. I typically stay at a different hotel when in Detroit but was decided to stay at Courtyard because of the onsite bistro. My room was quiet, the bed very comfortable and the building was safe. Parking was convenient and plentiful. Every staff member I encountered was pleasant, smiling and knowledgeable. I can’t say enough good things about the front desk associates; they were the first ones with greetings and smiles in the morning, and welcomed me back in the evening and stopped to have a pleasant brief conversation—I truly looked forward to that each day because they made it home away from home- thank you for your smiles! The bistro has great breakfast and friendly service. The staff in the bistro was super friendly and professional. Try the avocado toast! Overall, this is a quality hotel at a fair price—similar to many in decor. But the staff is what makes this hotel shine! I will most definitely return!

Friendly staff who went above and beyond the average. Always greeted me on the way out and returning; gave local info when asked, provided me with a bottle of water while waiting for a friend outside on a very hot day. Loved my accessible room with the amenities I needed. Very clean and safe.

Good bits: Friendly checkin staff. Clean and comfortable room. Really nice sofa-chair. Hit shower with good water pressure. Easy-to-use wiffy. Not-so-good bits: Bed pillows were pretty flimsy. Balcony chairs had seen better days but were ok.

Convenient to DTW
Great hotel near DTW. They were so helpful getting us to and from the airport with their free shuttle service. Grandson enjoyed the pool! Friendly staff. Only one problem - not enough linens for three people, but they did give us more on request.
