Nos encantó la ubicación, está cerca de todos los sitios turísticos más interesantes. La relación calidad precio es excelente. Pero destacamos por encima de todo el servicio del personal principalmente el de Aquil quien estuvo pendiente en todo momento con mucha amabilidad y una sonrisa, siempre dispuesto.

He de decir que la habitacion era la mas barata. A pesar de ello estaba muy bien salvo: Algun detalle, como el armazon que protegia la tele,primera vez que veo algo asi. La ducha se podria haber arreglado, el apaño daña la imagen del hotel. Y el que he de detacar, aunque podia ser mas problema de la compañia de internet....Tuvimos muchos problemas con el wifi, los 3 dias de la estancia, se caia continuamente,y iba bastante mal.habia que llamar a recepcion continuamente para que resetearan el router. El desayuno, el mismo de los demas hoteles asi que bien. Limpieza perfecta,nada que decir Y los empleados muy amables. La ubicacion es buena. Poco mas que añadir espero que os ayude, tanto al viajero como al hotel Un saludo

Un hotel especial en Estambul
Desde que hice la reserva, el hotel se contactó enseguida conmigo y nos ofreció el servicio de recojo del aeropuerto. Nos recogieron puntuales y nos recibieron muy amables. Yunus fue muy amable al igual que el personal del hotel. Es un hotel pequeño y está bien ubicado en una calle tranquila. Puedes caminar a muchos lugares turísticos. La limpieza estuvo excelente y el servicio de desayuno también. Nos sentimos seguros porque alrededor hay tiendas, restaurantes y turistas. A pesar que está en un barrio antiguo, es muy seguro y te sientes como en casa. Todo muy bien! Si volvemos a Turquía otra vez, volveríamos al hotel Sphendon!

Viaje con hijos adultos
El hotel esta muy bien ubicado. A 7 minutos caminando de A.Sophia, Mezquita Azul y Topkapi y La Cisterna. El hotel esta a 7 minutos de a pie de la estación de tranvía de Sultanahmed que conecta con todo. Muy fácil de llegar a Taksim, Gran Bazar, Bazar de las Especias para compras. El personal del hotel muy servicial y atento a todas las necesidades, siendo una muy buena fuente de infomación para recorrer la ciudad.

The people made it worth it.
It’s an old hotel and not the cleanest we’ve stayed in. The AC leaked but did the job well enough and the water pressure was variable. Breakfast was simple but a nice bonus. The location is great and the cost is reasonable. Both the terrace upstairs and the back garden were nice additions. The people who work here are what made it worthwhile for us- super friendly, helpful and kind.

The Sphendon is a charming, old hotel in Istanbul. It’s walking distance to everything you need when exploring. The free breakfast was a nice added touch. The staff were great and we enjoyed our stay. If you have mobility issues - this is not the place for you as there is no elevator. The rooms are small but you get what you pay for. We would stay here again.

Nice place, quiet and close to all amnesties
I enjoyed staying at this hotel, the staff is very nice and helpful. When I got there I was tired and my room is not ready yet so they offered me the big family room for no extra charge. That was very nice. The location is very good it’s close to all the public places. I enjoyed staying here and will definitely come back. Thank you Hotel staff

Recommendation of the hotel
I liked the hotel. It was cosy and nice. Quiet, nice view to the historical green wall with birds that sing.. only the room was very tide, small size and cleaning stuff was a bit noisy in the morning, plus, be careful with the breakfast - guess it wasnt vry fresh, i got intoxicated...But in summary, according to the price/quality, I would recommend this 🏩.. though i saw they topped up the price now.. so u think?..

Staff was very helpful , the most kind people at front desk , the overnight guy was outstanding in service . Even though it is not a high star hotel , it is very good in everything , clean, service, good breakfast , walking distance from everything , it couldn’t be better .

Great location within walking distance of historical sites. Small boutique hotel, very clean, with very helpful, friendly staff. I would stay there again. Hippodrome ancient wall at back of hotel off breakfast area was a real treat.

Lovely, friendly helpful staff. Great place, roof terrace, garden, building. The Pillows need burning...very smelly. Otherwise rooms were ok but in need of a good clean and some diy. I would definitely stay again.

Excelente relação custo benefício
Excelente localização, a poucos passos das principais atrações da cidade. Quarto grande, confortável e limpo. O pessoal da recepção era prestativo e agradável. O café da manhã poderia ser um pouco melhor, mas era aceitável.

awful, illegal, and also full of crooks!
AVOID!!!! dodgy hotel. We have booked it ages in advance, and they informed us no rooms were left. They gave us one night only and changed us to a 'private' apartment the next morning. They said we can only pay them cash, which we did and no receipts were given. In the apartment there was no hot water, so no shower for a day and no curtains and it was by the tramline. horrible. Again they asked us pay in cash, and no receipts. I wrote to hotels.com and they said hotel told them no guests were registered under that name, hotel was full and no one checked in last night. as I do not have receipts they did not believe me. Disgrace to Hotels.com and of course this hotel. I had a child on my hand, sleeping, as we arrived late, and the next day they caused us so much inconvenience. We did not want to ruin the holiday and make a fuss, but hot water, noisy apartment, dodgy money handling and also no curtains, just seem to be a cowboy place. Avoid if you can. I never write reviews usually, not my thing. But this time I want to warn anyone who might be choosing this hotel. It is full of crooks who is trying to make money illegally. I am not sure if the owner knows what is happening behind his back.
