el problema es que recepción no responde de nada del apartamento y si tienes un problema no pueden solucionartelo porque es de un propietario privado del cuál ellos no responden, solo te dan las llaves. No funcionaba ni la tele ni la wifi y así nos quedamos Aparte que la cocina estaba llena de hormigas diminutas y era un problema porque había muchas en cuanto se quedaba una miga en el suelo

The room was beautiful & the location was perfect. The only negative thing was the fact that the tv screen stopped working on our second day - was really looking forward to watching movies at the end of our days. Other than that, great basic room with a beautiful view.

The room was clean and we had a good view of the ocean from the patio. There were plenty of places within walking distance to eat and shop. I know others said parking was limited but we did not have a problem finding a spot and we did leave and come back a good bit. I would stay here again, it was nice.

There were roaches everywhere in the property. The management team was not very helpful with accommodating us with our room.The staff was also very mean.

This is not a hotel! it is a furnished apartment. do not expect any room service like beds made, towels and so on. there is a charge for everything at this place. the parking is very limited and tight (you will most likely have to park on the street). there is no staff on had to talk to and before you check in you call a corporate number on Maui to get very little information. when you do show up, you have to call a number to let them know you are there, pay close attention to the form they have you fill out with all of the extra service charges. This is not a hotel!

Lot's of maintenance issues. First the door lock wouldn't open and I had to call someone on another island. Remote for AC didn't work, hot tub broken down for weeks and power went out but the back-up system didn't work.

We stayed at the Kona Islander Vacation club for a week during our family vacation. If you are looking for a tropical vacation spot that is affordable and within walking distance of shopping and restaurants this is it. The condos were clean, and the property is well maintained. We use the pool on hot tub just about every night, it was a great way to end the day. The grounds are very relaxing there. We had one minor thing happen. When we arrived the air conditioner to our condo kept turning itself off every 20 seconds which made our condo very hot.. So I called the number that was given to us and maintenance came up and they fix the problem. Other than that, we didn’t have any major issues with the condo. If you want your towels and toilet paper or trash bags refurbished, you just have to call them and leave a message and they bring it up to you that day. The kitchen had a refrigerator and a microwave and toasters and coffee pot, it also came with all the dishes that you needed plates cups silverware all those things as well. And paper towels. The only other thing to mention is that parking can be an issue. They have 100 parking spots. But there is 150 units. So if you arrive a little later towards the day, the parking spots will be full so they ask you to park up there by the street where the gravel area is. And sometimes that was full as well. So a couple of times we had to park down the street. We would definitely stay there again.

Staff was great but it was a real process getting the correct password for our wifi. It was just out of date and they had to contact the rental company over in Maui. Otherwise we had a nice time!

This little one bed condo suite was perfect us. With a mini kitchenette, mini fridge, coffee maker. Parking was always full, however we were able find a space to park. Walking distance to shopping and dining. Love walking up and down Ali Drive. Perfect sunsets can be seen at any restaurant on Ali Drive. We did not drive much. Grocery stores are under 10 minute drive. We love staying at Kona Islander Inn for its convenience to food and shops.

It was obvious that no one had stayed in our room for a long time. Thick dust on every surface and I had to clean. Even the lights by the bed were dusty. I also had to sweep the balcony.

The location of the hotel was ideal: very close to the ocean, shopping and food. The rooms were nice, but there were problems…the AC didn’t blow cold air and it was SO LOUD! The toilet ran the whole time we were there. Parking was definitely an issue, as in we almost could never park on site. When you first check in you initial all these different fines they might charge you for, some things that makes sense, but other things that were weird and random. Also on the door to your room is a sign to take out your own garbage, and clean your dishes or you’ll be fined. It didn’t make for a very welcoming feeling to think they were hoping to catch you doing something that would make you have to pay additional fees.
