The hotel is actually good for the price. But: - the mattresses are so worn (they slope towards the center), that we slept really bad and had back aches during our entire stay - the rooms are so poorly soundproofed, so you can hear EVERYTHING that goes on in the hallway/room next door (the squeaking of the carts for house keeping, knocks on other rooms’ doors, and we heard lots of loud banging). Also, the pool was closed when we got there. That needs to be clearly indicated beforehand, cause we chose this hotel in part because of the pool. So, even though the hotel offers very good ‘bang for your buck’, I wouldn’t wanna stay there again next time.

Great, as one would expect for a 4* hotel. Sensational breakfast, highly recommend. Great check out time of 12 instead of 10 or 11. Toilet clogged 8 times but they promptly fixed it each time, Hmmmm. Wish my bed was a tad softer! Great location - 10min walk to ferry, 20HKD for 4 pax & a quick 10 min ride. Also great 2 min walk to catch Airport bus A11. 42HKD Adult. 22 HKD Child, then relax for an hr, heaps of luggage room. U must be crazy to take 400HKD taxi. Great cheap restaurants & shopping close by. A good place. Cheers

Great stay at a main hub of Hong Kong. The hotel is close to main lifelines on the South Island line. Easy to get around and comfortable to stay in.

Only for location
Genuine and friendliest staff in the entire hotel are the housekeeping team. I was on level 8 and I can see they are non locals but very sincere and friendly. The cafe is probably the worst I’ve been. Extremely cold is one thing but staff there are just clearing your unfinished dishes where r u go grab something else. I’ve seen other guests being unhappy and telling the staff off as well. I was told The reception manager was rude to my employee asking for a receipt of when the hotel received his lost luggage from the airlines . He didn’t want to give it in the end. Other than the location I can’t see myself staying there again. Most of the staff there behaved in nonchalant manner with no sense of service in mind

The property itself is standard and well maintained. It is the staff that really makes this a great hotel to stay at. They were very accommodating (for example, they allowed me to check in to my room two hours early) and even went a little bit extra by providing a note and cake for my birthday while I stayed there. The location in Wan Chai was super convenient too. If I visited Hong Kong again, I would definitely consider staying at this hotel.
