“It took a day or two to warm up to The Beachouse. I was expecting more of a resort-feel but instead it felt like an upmarket backpackers. The breakfast supplied was very basic..cornflakes and weetbix, bananas, toast and spreads but you could buy a cooked breakfast. “Our room overlooked the sea and we had a patio on the second floor. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. Our room was maintained daily which was nice to come back and have a fresh bed and towels. The connivence of having little shops on the premises and very local enough to walk to with a sunny view and sunset view in the evenings was something else. Would 1000% go back if for nothing else but to see the family we made whilst staying. 🌸❤️🙏”

The place looks great from photos, unfortunately the rooms are very run down with paint coming off the ceiling in the bathroom and water stains on the floor and even baked on grime on the bathroom mirror. “The resort was so laid back and relaxing. We were treated like family by the staff. Their breakfast buffet was excellent and other meals at the restaurants were also very good. We both had massages at their spa and highly recommend it. We had an issue with our rental car not starting, and 3 of the employees went out of their way to make sure that we got it resolved. “The ocean view bure was exactly like the picture featured online. The hammock was in front of the bure and yes the beach was just a few feet away! Wonderful location! The bure was big. The outside bathroom could have been cleaned better as it kinda smelled of urine. 😒 The staff went out of their way to assist and went the extra mile when I had a stomach issue. “Estuve solo un día para poder llegar a un vuelo temprano en Suva y la verdad es que fue una grata sorpresa, venia de un resort 5 estrellas y la verdad es que salvando las distancias, y si toman un bongaslow con aire acondicionado, no tienen que envidiarle .
