Initially at our arrival, the rooms offered were in a 4th floor with no elevators, the escalators were very uncomfortable. Then we were moved to a room on a 3rd floor that was awful too. Finally, the offered us a room on a 2nd floor in a terrible conditions and they charged us $100.00 extra

Personale var søde, men 1 værelse var ikke godt! Man kunne ikke stå oprejst på badeværelse toilet , vindue og lampe var istykker!

This is a small hotel (probably a converted family home), that is a little run down. That being said is that its location is fantastic. It is literally 1 5 minute walk from the entrance to Hagia Sofia. The staff is also very friendly. So if you are looking for a reasonably priced place to lay your head, it is ideal, if you are looking for a hotel to hang out in, then maybe this isn't the best place

Don't stay here
Stayed earlier this year. Gave us the incorrect room, it was the loft which neither of us (both fairly short) couldn't even stand in. Bathroom flooded. Bed was most uncomfortable in a 7 month trip. Very loud noise of construction all night. Management didn't care until we told them we were reporting them then moved us to a room right by reception. Next morning told we had to move again. Other rooms were slightly better, we could at least stand up. Breakfast was down the road and inedible. Worst hotel ever

I would stay here again for sure !
I'd give it a perfect score but I don't believe anything is perfect perfect. What makes this place great is the attention of the front desk. They were very nice and told us everything we needed for a great stay. Shuttle arranged, restaurant was amazing.. etc.

Hotel très bien situé mais très bryant et surbooking On a jamais vu la suite avec vue sur le parc...à notre arrivée notre chambre était déjà prise et on nous a donné la chambre dans le hall d’accueil puis une chambre côté rue

The best location for exploring the city
Stylish Ottoman architecture, quiet street, really short time to reach most important monuments (by foot), close to tram stop and proms to other parts of Istanbul, helpful and friendly staff. I like this place:)

yılbaşı için otelin çatı katında bulunun minik ahşap odayi tuttum, tavanın alcak olmasi dışında herhangi bi eksi yanı yok, oda içerisinde ihtiyacınız olabilcek herşey mevcut, odalara ketıl makinesi eklenebilir kahve ve cay yapmak icin ama istediginiz takdirde odaniza kadar kahve ve cay getirebiliyolar. Çalışanları güleryüzlü ilgi ve alakalılar. Teşekkürler herşey için :)

Немного гудел кондей. Душ без кабинки, прямо на полу, окошко выходит на ноги кушающих на улице. Но переночевать в центре города-норм. Почему-то дешевле было бронировать комнату через посредников, а не напрямую у отеля

Ich würde niemals noch einmal dieses Hotel besuchen, es war schrecklich. Es wird auf die Sauberkeit überhaupt nicht Wert gelegt!! Das Frühstück ist mangelhaft.

this is not a hotel for a couple nor a family
The hotel have a 6 rooms it is an apartments style located in a very small street with no parking ,the rooms are very small and I dont have to tell you about bed bugs

It isn't that big, but the hotel impressed me a lot because of the historical atmosphere in it. The personal was quite friendly and always have been asking if they could help us in any situation. Even if the building is old, they were hygenic. When we got back, the duvet covers were always changed in new/clear ones. You have got the opportunity to air condition you room, just as it is told in the description. I was definitely impressed and I am not overstating. All in one I can say that ''Le Soufran Suite'' is recommendable.

Heruntergekommenes Hotel im Zentrum Istanbuls
Sehr altes Hotel welches nie saniert worden ist, zimmer wurde nur auf Anfrage geputzt, bei Ankunft stellten wir fest, dass noch die Unterhosen und Unterhemden von den Vormietern drin gelegt waren. Entschuldigung auch hierfür nicht bekommen. Obwohl DoppelZimmer gebucht worden ist, mussten 60 Euro nachbezahlt werden, da nur für einen Reisenden gebucht worden ist. Frühstück sehr schlecht, qualitativ einseitig. Dann mussten wir am zweiten Tag umziehen in ein andere Zimmer. Dieses War im Obergeschoss und hatte schräge drin. Wenn man grosser als 1.60 Meter ist kann man nirgends aufrecht stehen auch im Bad nicht!! Das War das schlechteste Hotel das ich jemals gebucht hatte. NIEMEHR WIEDER!!

Very bad and it ruined my holiday. A disaster
Very bad. Small rooms. Dirty broken smelly furniture and dirty sheets and pillow cases. Kitchen without cooker or microwave or a kettle even no spoons or knifes or forkes. Poor breakfast with flys on food. No air condition in dinning room very worm and uncomfotable. Dinning tables and chairs not suitable for adults but for kids. No botles of water supply as promised. The entrance to the apartment is very dirty and lots of people work in front of the entrance with boxes of corns at the entrance make you feels very uncomfortable. Internet is very poor and disconnected most of the time with no connection in the abatement. Air conditions autmatically go off around 5 am and you wake up sweating key of rooms were not available twice and I have to wait for my keys and staff brings them from outside the hotel?!!!!!. Occasionaly breakfast run out before time one day I asked for bread and the girl in the kitchen said bread has finished and it was 10 am (breakfast finishes at 10:30) breakfast start late 08:30 which very unsuitable. Also no enough cutlery in dinning room no enough cups and in several occasions I brought my spoons with me for breakfast. This hotel is a disaster by all means and I will not recommend it for any body even for free.

I choose this hotel because of his perfect location, in the old part of Istanbul, near to sultan Ahmed and topkapi palace, i liked the fact that it`s 5min walking from the tram stop,and the area was safe, with plenty of tourists.

Uns hat es gut gefallen es ist wirklich so wie in der beschreibung angegeben vielleicht sollte man nur noch in der beschreibung hinweisen für nicht englisch sprechende hinzuweisen das basement im keller heißt ich ear daher sehr überrascht aber wir haben ein anderes zimmer bekommen und daher waren wir mit unseren aufenthalt sehr zu frieden sollte ich noch mal nach Istanbul reisen werden wir wieder dieses hotel wählen

Dishonest staff, incorrect information.
We booked a 2 bedroom apartment, with space for up to 8 people. We were a family of 5 looking forward to spending time together. When we got there they gave us 2 rooms, one for 3 people, one for 2 people. One of the rooms had a cot that barely fit in the room. The floors were not cleaned, and teh windows were a huge danger. When we discussed with the manager he simply said that the apartment wasn't ready, so this was the better option. We also were told we would be able to have an early breakfast since 2 of us had to leave before the breakfast start time. When we arrived, the man said he didn't know about it, and nothing was ready. When he finally started to get food out, he said "I'm a man, only the woman can make breakfast", which upset my wife immensely. He also then went on a 15 minute rant about the other staff and how poorly run the hotel was. Not a good sign. Do not stay here, there are hundreds of better options.

I would like explain you why we did not give you the apartment with 2 rooms; the first reason is that the wi-fi had a connection problem and also the problem with the heating at the time your arrival. Considering this,we we thought of your comfort and altered your reservation in the main building of the hotel with one triple and a double room at the same floor. It was not possible to make a discount since you had directly paid to the agent and we did not ask you any payment and extras. Maybe we couldn’t express ourselves to you very well but we have given you the best available rooms for your comfort. Centrale e staff efficiente
In generale tutto molto buono, lo staff era disponibile e sorridente. L'hotel non potrebbe trovarsi in un area più comoda e centrale. Unica pecca ma per il prezzo che abbiamo pagato è trascurabile: soffitto troppo troppo basso nella nostra camera/mansarda. Bisognava tenere sempre la testa piegata e fare la doccia seduti. Ottima la colazione molto ricca.

술탄아흐멧과 가까워 관광다니기에 참 좋았어요. 하지만 객실 문고리는 망가져있고, 방음도 안되고, 객실은 너무 좁고, 화장실도 너무 불편했네요. 여행 중 최악의 호텔이었어요...

Romantic hotel in the heart of Sultanahmet
We spent 5 nights here with my girlfriend. The hotel location is perfect - in the heart of Sultanahmet, very close to all the interesting sites, like Hagya Sofia, Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar. Also there are many restaurants and shops in the area. We got a room on the top floor, therefore the ceiling was very low. My girlfriend is 150 cm tall, so she had no problems but I had to crouch everytime I went into the bathroom. However we explicitly chose this room, despite the ceiling height. When we arrived, the receptionist showed us this room and also offered us another normal room on lower floor. We still chose the first one though, because the bed was pointed directly out of the window and there was a beautiful view on the city and you could also see Hagya Sofia from the small side window. It was little bit less comfortable but very romantic and we enjoyed it.
