On 2/3, my wife and our three kids went to use the pool at the facility. Upon entering the pool area, I noted a man passed out next to the pool. He looked disheveled and there were towels and empty hard liquors shot bottles next to him. Initially, I thought it was a homeless person who had wandered into the facility. We left the pool area and told staff about the situation. Staff went to check on the man. We went to get a snack. We noticed the man come out from the pool area and he appeared upset. We noticed him throw paper towels against a wall near the hallway into the pool area. The man then disappeared. We waited some time and went back to the pool area. It had been cleaned up and the man was gone. Roughly 10-15 minutes later, my wife started screaming for me to get the kids out of the pool area. Both her and my oldest (6 years old) could see through a glass window into the gym area, where the man (same from the pool) was throwing gym equipment around the room and banging items off the wall. He looked very agitated. I grabbed my youngest (8 months old) while the others followed. The door to the gym shared a common hallway with the door to the pool, so we didn’t know whether the man would be coming into the hallway when we were coming out. We all ran to the front desk and let the front desk clerk know what was going on. My wife and kids were soaking wet and my middle child (3 years old) was screaming and terrified. We were told the man was a guest. We hurried to our room.
