“Pleasant hosts who are helpful. Clean, spacious cottage with a well-supplied kitchen and comfortable king size bed. Private parking next to the cottage is convenient. We had some difficulty with the heat because it is on timers. We find that inconvenient. Our only other problem was a slight but persistent sewer odor in the bathroom. ”

Great for early morning walks to the beach, and if you want to explore, most things are a short driving distance for hikes and other breathtaking nearby beaches. If you plan on being in this part of Cornwall, you should definitely book this home. Geoff & Jan are wonderful hosts.”

“The photos don't do this place justice. It has absolutely everything you need, and more! It most definitely has a luxurious feel to it. I loved the bathroom. The cottage os much bigger than it looks in the photos, so much room! ”

“Fab place, no cars and feels really special with gorgeous grounds and lots of space. The pod was clean, bed and bedsheets clean and crisp. Enough pots, plates, cutlery etc to manage and spacious. Toilet/shower was clean with good water pressure. We had a really lovely stay and would highly recommend. 2 adults and 2 tweens, they slept on fishermen padded camp beds.”

“It is so peaceful! What i loved is that you are so close to the 3 miles of golden sands if you follow the backroad which helps you avoid the mainstream traffic. The property doesn't state it but there is a second toilet in an outhouse and your own private seating area to have dinner in the sun is wonderful. ”

“First time we stayed in a Shepard hut . Went to Cornwall for some surfing at various beaches . The hut is very close to wadebridge shops and pubs and there’s local supermarkets close as well . It’s very very quiet and private as well , and there’s a log burning hot tub , at the property as well and a couple of sun loungers .there is some cooking equipment if you are prepared to make a meal using 2 hob stove . As I can cook almost anywhere given a pot and a heat source I found it ok to cook meals...

“Very quiet and welcoming location, not far from Camel ford for eating out and shops. The Serval cats were lovely to see, the horse loved a smooth, the tiny doggy was fierce and funny in a Christmas jumper. The hut was clean and had a microwave and air-fryer, toaster etc, we were welcomed with scones, cream, jam and a box of chocolates. Lovely place to get away to. ”

“Beautiful tranquil setting with wonderful outdoor space. The sheep are wonderful companions, and the sauna, outdoor bath and fire pit are luxurious additions. Inside, the bed is very comfortable and there are many thoughtful touches including bathrobes. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend!”
