Deben mejorar las condiciones del hotel en cuanto a la higiene, tienen un grupo de perros con un muy mal olor. Incluso el hotel lo conocen allá como el hotel de los perros.

El hotel está bonito, pero la habitación tiene sus oportunidades. El televisor no funcionó, y a pesar de que nos indicaron que lo revisaría un técnico, esto nunca ocurrió. El Aire Acondicionado no está incluído en el costo del hotel, se deben pagar USD14.00 por día por el uso del aire. La puerta de cristal que da al balcón no se puede cerrar, y el balcón es compartido, por lo que está expuesta a la entrada de intrusos muy fácilmente.

sin A/A. cortinas sucias, rotas.sin TV. muy sucio, toallas viejas y rotas griferia rota, sin agua caliente, olor a humedad etc etc.. DISPONGO DE FOTOS DE CUANTO ANTECEDE.

Bueeeno el hotel Kaoba esta muy bien ubicado; en el centro de la playa de Cabarete; Republica Dominicana, pero si fuera a pasar mas de una noche, lo pensaria mucho. En primer lugar la calidad de los empleado de la recepcion es cuestionable, hay dos perros que pueden heder mas, uno con tres patas y otra que es anciana con artritis se esta muriendo. Hay pocos hoteles sin parqueo para vehiculos el Kaoba es uno. Nadie sabe quien es el Gerente. Si se va a hospedar no lo haga en las habitaciones que dan a la calle, el ruido es muy fuerte.

On a attendu 39 minutes à la porte de réception il avait 6 chiens dans l entrée on ne voulais pas entrer car on avait peur une odeur insalubrité monsieur très arrogant car j ai dis que je me sentais pas confortable à cause des chiens faudrais que se soit mentionner que c est aussi un refuge pour chien accidenté

There's a reason why this hotel was cheap, cockroaches, spiders in shower and shower didn't even work, mini fridge didn't even work, had to cancel. No one at front desk after 8 pm to help with issues. At least next day staff canceled next reservation and refunded money.

The place is horrible, I went to sleep in my car instead. I did not wanted to sleep in that dirty bed. Also the windows are broken, they do not close so I didn't feel safe sleeping there.

This place is so bad. I stayed at the bungalow and it was so nasty I wanted to run away but unfortunately we were at ocean world and went to check in late it was 9pm and I had my kids , there was no place I could have found another room that late, the towels had marks on them, thankfully we had our own towels. The windows lock are broken I couldn't sleep because of safety, I was up all night making sure my kids were safe since the windows don't lock. The place is so run down and smells like dogs right when you walk in. I would definitely never stay there again.

This hotel is in really bad condition. The pool is dirty, the room is outdated. The A/C does not cool , the fan did not work. Oh my lord the place stinks. The owner had like 12 dogs in the place it was horrible.

Des l'entrée vous sentez à plein nez le chien, c'est un ramassis de tous les éclopés de la ville et ca pue- Y a pas de Bar, donc pas de petit déjeuner. Y a pas mal de blattes dans les chambres mais le personnel fait de son mieux pour assurer la propreté. Pour 32 USD la nuit tout cela parait normal..

Travelers, beware. You have to cross a treacherous road to reach the beach and restaurants from this hotel. I was careful, but still got run down by a crazy motorcycle and was taken unconscious to a hospital where I had to pay $2000 to get out the next day. The same thing happened to another guest two weeks before. I prepaid for 10 days. The accident happened the first day, but the hotel refused to refund any of the rest of the stay. Moral: if you stay here, book by the night. Otherwise, it's not a bad hotel.

Cockroach Motel
This place is beyond grim. There are far too many dogs running around so the lobby smells like a wet dog, which is a terrible first greeting. The check in was fine albeit a slight confusion in getting to our rooms (our fault with our bad Spanish) but the rooms are horrifying. There are ants and cockroaches on the floor, the towels & sheets are grubby and stained and there was hair in the bathroom drain. We didn't even have a towel to stand on after we showered so our room became a wet mess. I'm glad we only had to stay here for one night before we checked in to an Airbnb. The only redeeming feature is the location as you are really close to the beach and some great restaurants. We also stayed in the hotel room rather than the bungalow, we heard those were in a slightly better condition. You get what you pay for, so if you do decide to save a few pennies and stay here make sure you bring your own sheets, towels, and cleaning supplies!

My friends and I booked this hotel last minute, the same day at 6pm. I've stayed in this hotel several times in the past, but with the years the hotel has decreased their services, the infrastructure hasn't had any changes. The bed were very hard, it was difficult to sleep. It is ok for the price.

Outstanding for the money
No hot water, and the tub didn't drain, buttt... Late check in/out, super affordable, 5 min walk from the heart of beach nightlife. Comfy bed and nicely appointed room. Room is an independent bungalow, so nice and quiet. Nice pool. Safe.

The front desk tried to charge us extra for AC. Didn’t seem to know any details about the reservation. The sheets were extremely old. So much so that we asked for them to be changed because we thought they were dirty. Ends up they were just stained & thread bare from bleaching. Everything was very clean, there were cockroaches in one of the rooms, but it is normal for this type of climate & hotel. If you are ok with old sheets & beds, have a good grasp on Spanish & aren’t looking for western amenities this is a good bet for your money.
