Ahmed was extremely helpful when checking in. The hotel was clean including the leisure club. Kids enjoyed swimming. Breakfast was good but the vegetarian sausages couldn't been better.

Checking staff was rude and disrespectful The rooms are dirty I want say all but most of the staff are lazy and unhelpful.

The hotel exceed my expectation after read reviews on how dated the rooms have been for the other travellers. There was a wedding in the Easter weekend and the hotel had kindly arranged a room at the top floor, away from the party and the noise. The boys enjoyed the swimming pool very much. Reataurant staffs were great and food was excellent. I feel that the room has been refurbed, the carpet and decorations look fairly new. I wouldn't say it's modern like some new hotels but certainly clean and comfotable and the setting is grand and old style luxury.

The room allocated to me was above a terrace that adjoins a function room. There was a wedding party tha spilled on to the terrace.The music annd loud talking e it impossible to sleep. I complained to receptionist at 11.30 pm and was told “ I am sorry but there was nothing could be done and the noise would continue until 12.30. Ruined our weekend

Beautiful Hotel and grounds, lovely staff. The menu was a bit limited for evening meals and leaned towards quantity over quality. The breakfast times could do with being a bit earlier during the week when people would be visiting the hotel for business purposes, there were alot of people milling about in the lobby waiting for the breakfast room to open. Otherwise everything else was lovely.

Nice hotel in good location
Nice hotel with great facilities including pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Rooms are clean and of a good size. Could do with a refurb through our the hotel. Would have like the room to be refreshed at least once during a 4 night stay as kept having to ask reception for more items.

Great as always
This hotel is just fab. Lovley lady in reception let us check in early as room was ready. Room immaculate and 2 double beds. We go hers every year at xmas as its relaxing and good value. Breakfast choice is great and something for everyone. Will definitely be returning next year.

1 night stay
Nice enough for 1 night, but it looks tired in places. Our room was cold, the shower had a leak. The bed was very uncomfortable it was so hard, i dont think it had a matress on it. The pool was nice.

Not enough towels for our family of four, one shower gel and not enough tea. We also found a wet towel on the floor when we first entered our room.

Bargain stay
Excellent value for money for the cost. Beautiful building and grounds, with golf course and driving range. Outdoor activities such as giant chess. Pool and spa were run down but useable for what we paid so we weren’t expecting a luxury spa’. Rooms were a little dated, but were clean and everything worked fine. Staff were all polite. You get what you pay for and this exceeded my expectations

Lovely stay...staff were great, facilities were excellent with pool and Sauna included for little more than you would pay for a Travel Lodge or Premier Inn. I would definitely use them again.

Terrible customer service
The hotel itself is lovely but customer service is appalling. Check in was very slow, we were given a very off putting list of regulations for our dog - not very welcoming! Daily housekeeping was terrible, there were things not done every time. We were given dirty towels with skid marks on one day, another day the card was removed from the door but nothing was done. Tea tray wasn’t replenished, bath wasn’t cleaned, bleach was spilt on the floor and left there Walking around the hotel not one member of staff acknowledged us for our entire stay. Building and grounds are beautiful, pool and spa lovely but badly let down by service
