Caterina et Ignazio vous reçoivent dans un coin de paradis des montagnes, avec une gentillesse et une générosité incroyable. Petit déjeuner excellent avec des produits locaux et frais, doublée d'une vue superbe sur la vallée. Transport facile via petit bus local au pied du B&B. Nous recommandons sans hésitation les yeux fermés et espérons revenir.

This property is beautiful, clean and spacious. We rented it for two nights to visit the Amalfi coast. It is 30 minutes away from Sorrento. The family that owns the property is very kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! The only issue we had was the location. Our GPS didn't have the exact address. The owner gave us directions, but we got lost anyway. We were happy once we found the place. There are two restaurants close by and they were both good.

While it may be a little hairy (sometimes scary) getting up to this bed and breakfast, the view, the company and the hospitality are so worth it! We loved this little slice of heaven and the breakfast was exceptional! Caterina, Ignazio and Ringo (kitty) were amazing hosts!

We were happy to host Amber Nicole. We do everything possible to give our guests all the information for the most comfortable and least busy roads, but on the Amalfi and Sorrento coasts the roads are not the widest.

The most hospitable hosts! The home is a gorgeous villa on top of a hill. They stayed up late to make sure we found the road that lead to the home. Incredible breakfasts (local produce) with the most amazing view on a terrace overlooking the hills. Catrina (host) stayed up late two nights in a row to make us home made cakes. They texted us a personal map via Google Maps that outlined the easiest route to drive Positano as the roads can be somewhat difficult. The best accommodation experience on our Europe trip!

Ignazio, Cassiopea's host really did above and beyond to assure we have a pleasant stay. Fresh breakfast ingredients, friendly smiles, and useful travel information about Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi Coast, Bed and Breakfast Cassiopea have it all. Ignazio and his wife Caterina take pride in the culture, the people, the food, the life. The stay at Cassiopea is definitely the highlight of our vacation in Italy and we would not hesitate to return and visit the family just to visit the family again.

We spent two days at Cassiopea. Ignazio and Caterina are the most gracious hosts one can imagine; friendly, helpful, interested and simply real. We loved being there and immediately felt like we were with family. Food is outstanding and the accommodations were spacious and clean. The setting is great and Ignazio gave us a tip on using the tramway to get to Pompei that saves us both time and money, and gave us a spectacular view from above. We all hope we will come back again soon. If I am ever back in this region, I will not hesitate to book at Cassiopea. Highly recommended!

Thanks for the great advice: with our information it will be very easy to find us. For the entire Amalfi and Sorrento coast it is not easy to drive the car especially if it is large.

This hotel popped up at the top of the list in my search for hotels in the Positano area. False advertising. It is not in or near Positano and there is NO bus or train that will take you to Positano. My room had no window, which was a bit uncomfortable. The hosts seemed like superhosts, offering me rides to Positano since it was a 20-30 minute drive each way - yet failed to mention they were going to charge me 40 euros and it would be only cash even if they have a credit card machine. They did this repeatedly. They were not upfront and I owed $200 in additional charges cash only and there was no ATM nearby. They refused to let me pay with my credit card for the additional charges even though they charged my credit card at check out for my room. I was dumbfounded. They said I would have to wire them the money or mail them a prepaid cash card. WHAT? This is ridiculous. If they had told me even the day before checkout I would have gone out of my way to get the cash. I'm very disappointed. I stayed all over Italy but this only happened to me here at B&B Cassiopea - under the guise of being super hosts. I still can't believe I got duped. I should have known better. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere in Positano - not here.

In 20 anni di attività è la prima volta che ci accade una cosa simile, avevamo deciso di non rispondere a questo ospite anonimo perchè le miglior risposte sono i tantissimi giudizi rilasciati sui più importanti portali turistici internazionali. Risponderemo perchè gli operatori di Expedia così hanno consigliato. a) con i mezzi di trasporto pubblico è possibile raggiungere la Costiera Amalfitana e Positano ed è molto facile raggiungere la Costiera Sorrentina e la stazione del treno. La fermata del bus pubblico è a soli 50 metri dal nostro B&B che è baricentrico alle due Costiere e non lontano da Pompei, Capri e Napoli ; b) con l'auto, come afferma anche il nostro ospite anonimo, occorrono circa 25 minuti per raggiungere Positano e soli 10-15 minuti per raggiungere la Costiera amalfitana; c) gli amanti del trekking possono raggiungere Positano in circa 1 ora Per quanto riguarda le stanze, tutte sono ampie e hanno la finestra. Due su tre hanno la finestra vista mare, tutte accedono ad un ampio terrazzo panoramico con vista mare. Per il pagamento, tutti i nostri ospiti possono pagare con le carte di credito ma anche con bonifico bancario. In tutti questi anni tutti i nostri ospiti hanno pagato quando dovuto con un eccezione di un ospite singolo venuto da noi qualche mese fa. Questo non solo non ha pagato quanto dovuto compreso la tourist tax (che abbiamo pagato noi) ma ha avuto comportamenti molto strani in quanto invece di utilizzare i mezzi pubblici o il taxi chiedeva a noi di essere trasportato,abbiamo pensato che avesse difficoltà economiche e lo abbiamo aiutato. Non riserviamo alcun rancore verso questo ospite, poiché, questa piccola somma che ci doveva non cambierà la nostra passione per l'ospitalità e sopratutto non intaccherà i meravigliosi ricordi dei momenti vissuti con i nostri ospiti, fatti di di conoscenza, di umanità, di affetto.

The ONLY thing bad is getting here, but once you find it, you truly don't want to leave!!! Our hosts went above and beyond their efforts to make us comfortable and to accommodate our needs...they truly are Super Hosts! The breakfast spread was superb and an abundance of delicious pastries, fruit, juices, coffee, water, egg & cheese omlet, breads, and spreads...so much food! I HIGHLY recommend B&B Cassiopea to all of my friends and family! The hosts are extremely kind, helpful, and spoke enogh English to get around the language barrier! We are more than pleased we chose B&B Cassiopea...hoping to return someday!!!

The hosts were amazing! They were so accommodating and were available to us, but also gave us our space. They even provided me with supplies as I cut myself at a beach earlier. They also provided us a sample of local home-cooked food, which was even better than the restaurants there. Every day, breakfast was available for us. The room was extremely clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning worked great! While the streets are tough to navigate unless you have a small car, the hosts provided a much easier route than Google. Also I'd suggest driving there in the daylight if possible as night was a bit tougher. The hosts and property were great and I'd definitely go back! Thanks guys!!

Best place ever!
This is one of our favorite places in the world. Went here three years ago and weve been dreaming about coming back. This time was just as wonderful and were absolutely coming back many times again. Very close is the best pizzaplace in the world. We drive from Sweden for the pizza and the B&B. Super kind and helpfull owners.

Lovely rural B&B overlooking the sea
The views from B&B Cassiopea are stunning. It is perched high up overlooking the hills, forests and sea with some fabulous sunsets over Ischia. This region is very pretty with flowers everywhere and dramatic coastline. There is loads to see and do. We spent a day in Pompeii, which nothing can quite prepare you for, and another in Naples museum seeing the extensive collection marble statues and frescoes from Pompeii and other sites. Paestum is about 1.5 hours drive away and is well worth a visit. The 3 Greek temples and in excellent condition and it was very relaxing walking around the large site. There were relatively few people there, adding to our enjoyment. There are many beaches nearby too. The Amalfi coast is spectacular but very busy and we were unable to find parking to visit Positano and Amalfi during the afternoon and with hindsight we should have gone by boat. Driving around here is an experience I'm not sure I want to repeat and we were amazed and thankful we managed to return the hire car without any scrapes or dents. Public transport is regular and cheap so you can get around easily without a car.

My family was a little skeptical as the taxi wound its way up the mountain to Bed and Breakfast Cassiopea, but they were ultimately very pleased with the accommodations. And we were delighted with the graciousness of our hosts, Ignacio and Caterina who went well out of their way to make our stay a wonderful one. Caterina's breakfasts included her homemade jams and cheeses, unbelievable chocolate olive oil cake (that my son regularly asks me to get the recipe for), and other deliciousness. Ignacio escorted us around the area after we decided that we were not cut out to drive in Italy. The view from the terrace was lovely, and with Ignacio's help we explored the beautiful Positano and Amalfi. Oh, and Ignacio's homemade wine--yum!

Great and quiet place held by a wonderful couple
We stayed 5 nights there during the long week end around May 1st. We really appreciated staying in this quiet place rather than in the crowded villages of the amalfi coast. The couple owning the place is so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is great for people who like continental breakfast: Pastries often cooked by the wife , same for the jam and the cheese . Everything is delicious. The room had access to a large terrasse with sea view. Few parking spots . driving to the place is bit challenging initially with narrow roads but you get used to it .

We had a great stay at this b&b accommodation. There were 4 of us and by far it was the best we ever stayed in. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly. Great experience well worth the visit.

Great views, quiet location
Great location for those that like to be away from the high season carnage of sorrento and the Amalfi coast towns. perched high up in the hills you can see both the sorrento and Amalfi coasts. Our host, ignazio went above and beyond, was engaging and very helpful with local knowledge to make the best of our time, driving us to positano and arranging a boat trip around Capri. Breakfast included some home grown produce which was a nice touch. There's a nice pizza restaurant 100 yards from the property and a very nice restaurant "torre ferrano" just a bit further down the hill. All in all, highly recommended

Hotel fica em local muito agradável mas de difícil acesso, para entrar e sair do local do hotel e passear em geral pela costa Amalfitana, as estradas são muito estreitas, e torna-se muito estressante os Passeios, usar carros pequenos ameniza mas não resolve.

Le strade della Costiera Amalfitana e della Costiera Sorrentina non sono larghe e per questo noi suggeriamo a chi possiede macchine grandi come la tua di utilizzare il trasporto pubblico (la fermata del bus è a soli 50 metri dal nostro B&B) o la navetta che trasporta i nostri ospiti in tutti i luoghi della nostra Costiera. A Gem in a Challenging location
We had a great time at this B&B. Ignacio and Caterina were very gracious hosts and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was truly wonderful with fresh local fruit and pastries or omelets. We were given help with sight seeing and restaurants. We felt like family.

Posto accogliente
Un po' distante dal litorale ma ben accessibile, i padroni di casa ci hanno accolto con una gentilezza che raramente ho trovato nelle persone. Sempre disponibili a dare consigli sugli itinerari del giorno, Caterina e Ignazio dimostrano una passione per il loro lavoro e per il posto in cui vivono. Il b&b gode di uno splendido panorama da vivere la mattina quando viene servita la.colazione sulla terrazza.

Amazing place to stay. Owners were super kind and helpful. Place was spotless and views awesome. Bus trip up the mountain to the B&B was something else with wonderful views along the way once you got over the fright of the narrow roads. Really enjoyed great breakfasts on the terrace.

Unterkunft mit toller Aussicht und super Service

Like home
Catherine & Ignazio both welcomed my husband and I like we're family. They offered to pick us up from the airport with their own car for a small charge. Upon arrival their place was so clean and fresh, we really couldn't ask for a better place to stay! Location was great, it's right in the middle of Sorrento and Positano. The fresh organic homemade breakfast was delightful, we looked forward to it every morning! Wish we stayed here longer!!! The two restaurants that they recommend is a two minute walk from their place and it was the BEST Italian food we had ever. Don't eat in Positano, eat at the two nearby restaurants! They're not expensive and sooooo authentic.
With Ignazio & Caterine, so friendly and helpful!

Des hôtes parfaits, que vous veniez pour vous reposer, marcher ou découvrir les environs ils répondront à vos questions et attentes. La vue sur la péninsule de Sorrente du lever au coucher. Le petit-déjeuner de produits frais du jardin ou des environs est juste parfait et Ignazio et Catarina feront tout pour parfaire votre séjour.

The Best Part of Italy
My stay in Italy (first stop Rome) was off to a bad start. All of that quickly changed when I voyaged to Cassiopea. Location: In Vico Equense there are two buses that go into town and a train that will get you as far north as Naples and as south as Sorrento. The islands (Capri, Amalfi, Ischia) and cities (Pompeii, Positano) are easily accessible from town. Ignazio can also arrange for affordable transportation. Vico itself is a quaint town. Delicious food and beaches nearby. It's a quiet solace in the midst of all the tourist destinations. We encountered fewer tourists here. Hosts: I can't say enough about how comfortable Ignazio and Caterina made our stay and the free comedy their daughter Miriam provided. Breakfast was scrumptious; the fresh, juicy fruit came their garden. Side note: Ignazio is a winemaker.

We stayed at Cassiopea for 3 days. Finding the location can be difficult by car however once you find the place you don't want leave. Ignasio and Catarina took such good care of us. Fresh grapes on the terrace brings the Italy charm. We are grapes off the vine Close to vico equenze and sorrento. We will definitely go back

Wonderful place to stay
Ignazio and Caterina provide a wonderful place where you feel warm and welcome from the moment you arrive. The view from the outdoor patio is stunning even while a storm rolls in. A delicious breakfast each morning including fresh tomatoes and fruit from the garden, homemade preserves, cheese, tasty omelettes and delicious baked goods. I would recommend this B & B to anyone. Location can be tricky to find, but once you arrive, they offer great suggestions about local sights and ways to access them. We enjoyed our visit thoroughly.

Our stay was fantastic! The owners are just the most wonderful and helpful people. They went out of their way to make our stay amazing! The B&B is located in the cutest neighborhood, and the view from the terrace is incredible. I would definitely come back again. We loved it here! Thank you for your kind hospitality!!

교통은 좀 불편한, 그러나 주인 내외가 참 친절하고 인정이 넘침
비코 시내에서 좀 떨어져 있어 교통은 불편하다. 버스는 30분 간격으로 운행하고, 시내까지는 30분 정도 걸린다. 그러나 시설은 참 깨끗하고, 전망이 좋으며, 특히 테라스에서 주인 카테리나가 정성스럽게 차려주는 아침 식사는 정말 일품이다. 자동차가 있으면 정말 좋지만, 그렇지 않더라도 적극적으로 추천하고 싶은 곳이다.

Fabulous experience
Wonderful stay with Katerina and Ignacio, gracious hosts. Clean room. Beautiful breakfast made from local and home grown produce... And they sent us off with a bottle of local red from the cellar!! We will be back

Catarina o Ignacio är supertrevliga o de bästa värdar man kan tänka sig. Vi fick manga bra tips om området, restauranger, trafik och hjälp med bokningar. Varje dag dukades det fram en underbar frukost med lokala specialiteter på terassen. Rummet var stort o rent, badrummet likaså. B&B Cassiopea ligger jättefint med härlig utsikt över Sorrentohalvön o Neapelbukten. Snabb o perfekt fungerande WiFi. Vi ser redan fram emot att komma tillbaka till Cassiopea!

Underbar B&B med ett av de trevligaste och hjälpsammaste värdpar vi träffat. Rummet var rent och prydligt, med ett kök som vi dock aldrig använde. Terassen har en fantastisk utsikt och att inta frukosten eller ett glas vin på kvällen var toppen. Frukosten var riklig och mycket god. Det är ett stycke ner till havet så tillgång till bil är viktigt. De rekommendationer vi fick till lokala matställen var väldigt bra.

Fantastic stay and such amazingly hospitable hosts. Make sure to take the time for breakfast. Everything is fresh and local. I really can't recommend Cassiopea enough.

Awesome Awesome hotel
Catarina and Ignacio are phenomenal!!! They are extremely accommodating and their breakfast was awesome! There is no AC, but we went in September and the cool night air was perfect and there is also a fan in the room. They speak pretty good english and always ask if they can do anything to make your stay better, how you slept, etc. The other huge positive was Catarina drove us to Sorrento one morning! What B&B owner goes out of their way that much? Thanks again Catarina! The only minor negatives, and I didn't knock any stars off because they were minor was the shower wasn't draining and normally you were ankle deep in water. I brought this up to Catarina and she did have someone out to fix it, but it didn't solve the problem. No worries though, we survived! The only other down side is the distance from Sorrento. It was our fault, we didn't have a car and relied on public transportation, but when you look at a map it looks like such a small distance. You have to take the public bus, then train to Sorrento. It wasn't that bad though and we enjoyed it! Overall 5/5, thanks again and hopefully we can come back!

Great B&B !
We had a wonderful stay at Cassiopea. Ignacio and his wife are really great hosts : they are friendly and helpfull, the room is perfectly cleaned everyday, the breakfast is delicious, ... The B&B is well situated with a great view and good restaurants very close.
