There are two properties within 3 miles that are Garden Inn. We arrived at the wrong place. This needs to be corrected.

What i didnt like about the property is that they would not let you check in until you paid an extra 75 dollars for a deposit....which they say you get back after you check out if their is no damage...i never had to do this and i better get the money back.

floor was always damp for some reason, we all got some weird disease from staying there.

Could have been better
The hotel seemed dirty, the room smelled awful. There was a sharps container in the hallway for needles and trash piled up outside a side exit door and walkway till it was picked up a day and a half later. The front desk person was helpful when asked for clean towels.

A Little Misled at The Garden
The pool that was shown wasnt usable and the on sight restaraunt was closed. It was clean in the room.

The room was “stale”. We were told no smoking in the room and it felt like the room was stale. I put the air far down to try and make it better but there was no use. They need to do a better job of freaking up the rooms, I cannot say I would stay there again. The staff was friendly enough though at checkout, when all you want to do is leave, we had to wait for the guy to go and check our room to get our $75 back. Not his fault I am sure but this was a pain. Basically a small outfit maybe a little better then a motel 6.

Very friendly staff and close to many shopping and food options. Remodeling was being done to this classic building to make some updates but it didn’t interrupt our stay. Overall very happy with the staff and our stay. 😊

Well first off I thought it was weird that the lady who checked me in didn't have me swipe my debit card through the reader but picked it up and entered my card information herself, which makes me wonder if they can take anyone's card information and just enter it on the reader and make bogus charges on guests without their knowledge.

I liked the proximity to my destination, the quiet and its proximity to restaurants. I didn't like that one of the staff was mildly surly.

I would NEVER stay here again. This was a huge booking mistake by Expedia. Scary (!!!) location. Very old building and needed flip flops in shower. Supposedly no smoking room but towel smelled like smoke. Hot (!!!) halls and bedroom (August). I was afraid my rental car (new SUV) would not be there in the morning (stolen). Got up several times to check). Left crack of dawn after 4 hours of “sleep.” Staff unhelpful mostly.

My stay was very relaxing.. Hotel is located near quite a few restaurants, which I found very convenient.. A little outdated, but it was pretty clean..

Worst night ever
Thought there was a pool and there wasn't. There also was no breakfast. The drinks they did have where warm. The room was very dusty including the towels. Paid for a king bed and got put in a room with two full mattresses. I guess we where supposed to put them together. I've paid less for way better experience. Would not recommend this hotel at all. Dog hair all over the room.
