“The rooms are immaculate, well furnished. The teo tows if rooms thst were not damaged in thr fire are well back from the road and very wuiet. The restaurant next door was an mmrxcelkent place for breskfast. This was my sixth return visit snd i found the motel continues to be very welcoming. ”

“Very rustic with a HUGE emphasis on hunting. There were bear, turkey and antlers mounted on the wall. The place was a nice size. It was nice to have the bathroom down the hall from the bedroom. The living room couches and bed were comfy. Some of the fixtures weren't quite right. The antler chandeliers had cob webs, the sink had a hole where the sprayer was supposed to go, and the outlets weren't all secure in the wall. There was a lot of junk outside the cabin and we had to use our own towels...

“Great rustic lodging. Helpful and friendly host. Beautiful area and close to many hiking trails in parks and preserves. Highly recommended if you want simple, rustic lodging with comfortable accommodations (nice bed, everything needed for a compact kitchen to prepare meals, and nice picnic table for eating outdoors). ”

“It was great location however the steps to the beach were a little tricky..we are both over 60 with knee replacments ..the steps to the basement also very scary....we thought the deck.went along the bottom of the house but it was off the upstairs.....the view was amazing howevwr”

“This house was everything that was promised...secluded, well stocked, and very clean. I was particularly happy with the amount of supplies already in the kitchen when I arrived. Every morning I was able to have a hot cup of coffee out on the deck and listen to the water lapping against the rocks. I even had a little seal friend swim up into the cove to say hello.
My only word of warning is that the road to the house is unpaved and you really need to take your time driving to and from town....
