Our country home is located on its own hill in the iconic and unique undulating landscape of the Marches with their hilltop villages and a view of the Sibillini mountains, close to the town of Fermo (20 minutes). You can reach the beautiful sand beaches of the Adriatic sea and the main resorts of Cupra Marittima, Porto San Giorgio, Pedaso and Grottammare in about 30 minutes. Many of these are blue flag beaches with facilities, and they all offer plenty of restaurants, pizzerias and other eateries. Right at your doorstep are Belmonte Piceno and Monsampietro Morico, which have small shops, bakeries, post office, pharmacy and bank machine. You can also find farm shops outside the villages selling olive oil, fruits and vegetables, cheese and ham, for example Fontegranne. There are even more shopping opportunities along the coast (Lungomare), especially around Porto Sant Elpidio with many outlets and factory stores for shoes, leather and clothes, but also exclusive boutiques and all kinds of shops and services.
How to get here The closest airport is in Ancona (1hour), served by Ryanair and Lufthansa. Other airports such as Rimini, Rom und Bologna/Forli can be reached in 1-2 hours. There are car rentals in all airports.
The holiday home is an authentic, recently renovated, farmhouse with seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms and all modern comfort (reversible air con, flat screen TV, internet, washing machines, dishwasher). It is divided into two apartments with separate entrances, of which one is on the ground floor, There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms on the ground floor (two with shower, one with full bath), and four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a separate toilet in the upper apartment.
From the upper terrace there is a wonderful view of the hilly landscape of the Marches, the pool, the garden and the Sibillini mountains in the background. The garden is completely fenced, and the tarmacked access road is very quiet with no through traffic, which means that it is extremely quiet. There are 4-5 parking places in front of the house.
Each of the two units has its own kitchen with dishwasher, living room, terrace and washing machine. You can also barbeque and prepare meals in our sheltered outdoor kitchen (loggia), with its Argentinian grill, cooker and fridge. There is plenty of seating for all 12 guests. From this year we are also offering a brand-new fitness room in the garden with a spin bike and elliptical. We also have yoga and pilates equipment in the fitness room.
All windows have fly screens, and the whole house is fully air conditioned.
We love antiques and shabby chic; and the whole house is furnished with unique pieces purchased in Italy and the Provence. There are orthopedic mattresses in the double bedrooms. As it can get very hot in the summer we have three covered outdoor seating areas, the terrace on the first floor, the loggia, and a covered terrace for the ground floor apartment.
Our country home is surrounded by a lush garden with mature trees, Mediterranean shrubs, roses and flowers. The outdoor pool with shower is 12 metres long, 4 metres broad and 1.40 metres deep for the exclusive use of our guests. We are also offering guests a fitness room in the garden with a spin bike, an elliptical, and pilates/yoga equipment. In the back area of the garden there is enough space to fix a net in order to play volleyball or badminton. There is a foosball table in the summer kitchen, which is popular with families. We also have all sorts of soft play toys and pool toys to keep little ones happy.
The ground floor unit has a separate washroom with a washing machine, where you can also find toys, garden chairs and other outdoor equipment.
The garden is completely fenced; there is sufficient off-street parking for 4-5 vehicles right ouside the property.
The country house with its 300 m2 is divided into two units, of which one is on the ground floor. Both units have their own kitchen, living/dining room, TV, washing machine and terrace. This is ideal for large families, groups of friends and grandparents. The summer kitchen has sufficient seating for all guests and is accessible to everyone.
Private chef: In our summer kitchen you can prepare your meals and dine outdoors, barbeque or enjoy your favourite tipple. You can also engage our private chef Samuele to cook for you, organise a pizza party or teach you how to make cheese or pasta. Wine tasting: there is wine tasting available at our local wine cellar, which is in a beautiful location and offers wine tasting events and tours of the vineyard. Please contact us for further information.
