Sehr gutes Frühstück, hervorragende Lage, nettes Personal. Teppich in den Zimmern sollte mal erneuert werden. Beim Frühstück als Einziges zu bemängeln sind etwas die Brötchen. Könnten etwas knackiger sein. Für Potsdam ist das Hotel wirklich empfehlenswert.

Wir waren das zweite Mal im Hotel Brandenburger Tor gewesen und es hat uns wieder gut gefallen. Das Hotel hat sehr viel Charme und das Frühstücksbuffet ist ganz wunderbar. Es gibt eine tolle Auswahl und auch der Frühstücksraum „Luisenzimmer“ ist sehr hübsch. Es gibt mit eine begrenzte Anzahl an Parkplätzen auf dem Innenhof des Hotels. Dafür kann man allerdings im fußläufigen Parkhaus für 18€ pro Nacht parken. Das ist super. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Lage direkt am Brandenburger Tor und gegenüber vom Luisenplatz, Weihnachtsmarkt buchstäblich vor der Tür bzw. unter dem Fenster. Abends dennoch ruhig, da Buden um 21:00 Uhr schliessen, nur Uhr mit Glockenspiel noch zu hören, für leichte Schläfer vielleicht störend (mit Ohrstöpseln dann aber auch kein Problem). Freundlicher, unkomplizierter Check-in, Suite gross und hell, Heizung gut mit Digital-Thermostaten steuerbar, Bad ebenfalls gross mit Eckbadewanne und separater Dusche sowie separater Toilette, Minibar mit kostenlosen Getränken (leider weniger Softdrinks als Bier, aber wer mag da schon meckern…) und Schokolade. Frühstück eher hochpreisig, aber gut in Auswahl und Qualität, obgleich Potential nach oben sicher in jeder Hinsicht vorhanden ist. Dennoch würden wir das Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

The hotel is located in a historic, well kept building very well situated at the beginning of the main shopping street. The front desk was very friendly and guided us personally to a beautiful room. Very comfortable bed and the room had many amenities (even an umbrella for guests to use). We travelled with our toddler and the room service had the cutest bed set up in the room for our son. The breakfast buffet is also recommendable. We would definitely return to this hotel on a future stay in Potsdam. Don't miss the KPI store and outlet right next to the hotel.

Boutique hotel in a stunning location. All major sites within walking distance or through frequent nearby public transport. Rooms very comfortable with air con and effective double glazing that eliminates street noise. Quality and quantity of foods for breakfast was excellent.

Needs a renovation. Carpet was shabby and stained. No electrical accommodations for cell phones, etc. Staff did not offer basic hospitality (I.e. water, coffee, suggestions where to sit and wait) when I arrived early and my room wasn’t ready.

Staff charged me again for the room even though I prepaid via expedia. Spent an unnecessary half an hour to settle the issue, lady at the front desk was nonchalant and slow in resolving. That’s half an hour of day time when the sun sets at 4.30pm. Also, stuck behind the wardrobe, there’s a list of cost of every single thing in the room.

Sehr zentral gelegen, kann daher aber auch teilweise laut sein. Im Anbau zu den Appartments gibt es keine Fahrstuhl und Nachts lässt sich die Haustür recht schwer öffnen. Frühstück war gut und das Personal freundlich.

Perfect day in Hotel Brandenburger Tor!
I've been in the junior sweat room, and the scenery through the 6 tall windows was fantastic and romantic, in day and night! The room is amazingly large (especially bathroom!) and the personal service was so friendly. I will definitely visit again :) (Just little thing was slow WLAN speed.)

Schitterende ligging Kamer mooi gedecoreerd maar jammer van het tapijt. Ontbijt was goed al hebben we liever buffet maar dit is zeker coronaproef zo.

Confort et romantisme en suite...
Suite très spacieuse et confortable, meubles et décoration agréable, on est comme chez soi et même en plus grand ! Bonus la vue sur la porte de Brandebourg, la très belle place et le début de la rue piétonne.
