Hotel is close to the pyramids and will be close to the new Egyptian museum in Giza. It is supposed to be a 5 starts hotel and spa, but today is in the lowest limit. Good enough for what you really need while being in Cairo. Beware, no WiFi in the rooms and in too slow in the common areas after all tourist come back from their tours. TV set was old and with bad reception, but as somebody said before, you don't go to Egypt to watch TV. Breakfast is all you can eat, but nothing special for the price, it could even be overpriced for what you can expect as (Latin)American or European. Service good as expected. As a guest used to non-smoking hotels, you can also feel a little bit odd of how many people smoke all around the place.
Le Meridien Pyramids & Spa is no the resort you are used to in beach destinations, but combortable to visit Cairo main attractions. Of course, the view is what you pay for!
