We have stayed here 3 times before in the past with no issue. What we like is the fact that a free "shuttle service" to and from the airport is offered. This last time, we arrived back from our trip around 11 pm after travelling all day. When we called for a shuttle they said to take a cab and they would reimburse the driver when we arrived at the hotel. They also mentioned that the boiler was not working and there would be no hot water. If that was an issue they could cancel the hotel room free of charge. We had parked our vehicle close to that hotel for the week with the idea of staying there the night we returned then driving home the next day. Once we arrived we decided not to stay due to no hot water available still. The hotel would not cover the cab ride as we decided to cancel our reservation. They said they had tried to notify us that day, yet no call or message was left on my phone. I realize that under normal circumstances a hotel will not cover a shuttle ride if the client was not going to use their hotel. However, the fact that this was a hotel issue, boiler issue, and we were not previously notified of that issue, I believe they should have covered the cost of the shuttle ride, cab ride, back. If I would have been told the shuttle ride would not have been covered, I'm sure I could have found a neighboring hotel that we could have stayed at and a shuttle ride provided free of charge. I paid the cab driver and we found a different hotel. Client lost.
