Pool was great for the kids. Room was needing some repair to the light fixtures but was overall clean and decent shape. Restaurant serves a great breakfast.

Checked in- went to the room and the tv was broken. Asked for a replacement but they didnt have another tv. Went to have a shower and no soap and shampoo. The front desk had to go get some from a nearby store..

While it was great to have a roof over our heads, there were a couple of things that were disappointing. 1) Not a major thing as we were only there for one night, but there was no shampoo or conditioner for a shower. They did eventually provider a bar of soap. 2) The staff at the front counter were not very customer service oriented. When I went down to get the bar of soap, the individual behind the counter felt obligated to tell me that people were telling her it was her fault for not having soap and seemed more interested in staring at her phone that helping people (she called someone over from the couch that was also on their device). I get it... it was later in the evening, but it reflects poorly. Lastly, we had one towel in a room with two queen beds. Overall, it was a disappointment and we will look for alternative places the next time we visit Strathmore.

I was charged twice for the room, there was no shampoo, etc in the room and the staff had no idea where the fitness room was.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately for reasons relating to Covid19 the exercise room is out of order. Unfortunately the double charge was related to Expedia error and not on our end of the reservation however thankfully we were able to solve this issue for you.

After driving for 9 hours we were excited to have a shower. When we got to our room we noted no shampoo. I went to the desk and was informed they had no soap this week. No shampoo, no body wash not even a bar of soap. After searching our car we fortunatley discovered a small bottle of body wash. With renewed excitment we returned to the room. It was then discovered we had only one towel..for a room that sleeps 4. The morning comes and we had the delight of sharing the single serving of coffee that was provided...

The facility is aging the toilet seat was damaged. The tv wasn’t working. The beds were clean and comfortable.

Charging full price but having absolutely no room cleaning whatsoever is rediculous. Was there for 2 weeks and had to take an entire day multiple times out of my vacation just to clean.

Room rates are currently discounted significantly due to Covid and the struggles related to Covid. We are sorry that your stay was not satisfactory however we are still required to follow AHLA guidelines for both our protections and our guests.

there was no shampoo in the rooms..luckily we brought our own. As soon as we entered we saw that one of the garbage cans was full of someone else's empty beer & pop cans so had not been dumped. Called for a wake up call Sunday morning.. no one called.. had to rush to make it to the event we were staying there to attend.

Unfortunately suppliers all around the world are struggling with supply and demand as Covid affects them as well. Rooms are checked by 2 other people after housekeeping has finished in order to provide the cleanest, most satisfactory room quality possible.

I showed up for my reservation, they had my name, but no room had been booked. The girl at the front told me the room I had reserved on Expedia had not been clean and the cleaning person had called in sick. There were no other rooms available. NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY. Where do I sleep tonight. They don't care.

We are sorry for this situation you were put into. There was a maintenance issue with the room that was assigned to you and as such we reached out to Expedia to inform them that your reservation could not be accommodated the day before. Expedia advised us that they would reach out to you to inform you and to relocate you. I will investigate further and reconcile this matter with Expedia.

Love the rooms on first floor as one parks right out front of the room and enters from outside. Room was comfortable and price was good.

Liked very little. Room was dirty. Bathroom smelled of old pee. There was only a single towl in the bathroom. Shower curtain was nearly ripped in half. Side door to the building did not lock at all.

Booked a family suite as we are a family of 6. Arrived to a room with 2 queen beds, no seperate room as we booked. Paid upon arrival for the suite, and when I asked where our suite was, the lady informed us that someone else was in it. So I asked why they charged me for a suite, she said she didn’t. I opened Expedia and informed her the room she put us in was $50 cheaper. The room smelled like sweaty hockey equipment crossed with peppermint, quite sickly.. Will not recommend nor stay here again

Friendly front desk staff, quick check in. Older hotel but room had comfy bed, fluffy pillows and new furniture in it. Missing remote but for the economical price no complaints.would stay again. Sister in law had to catch early flight and front desk lady offered to make her coffee and wake up call.

I would never stay hete ahain!
First off got to hotel at 10 pm. Got checked in to find oit there was not a juccusi suite availabe o had used my free room points to book as it was my birthday and waz goi g to back surgeon apt next day. Had to cLl hotels .ca wait on the phone for 30 m8n. They fi ally decided after my persistance to give me a credit for another night. That was nive of then. But.... I would nit recomend this hotel. Bathroom was discusting. Pee on front and bottom of toilet. Hair and toilet paper bitz on floor. Taps dirty and stained.T.V. stand was dusty. Counter had coffee xrops on if. Microwave hasnt been cleaned. Fridge was dirty. I though during covid especially cleaning would be at its best. Lobby had not been vaccumed in a while rugs and floors were filthy!!

We are sorry Christine for the mix up. Unfortunately we do not have control over third party reservations and in this case it was a matter of the agency that you booked through making a mistake and double booking the room. We try to accommodate as best as possible in these instances. I am sorry your room was not satisfactory and I will look into this on your behalf. As we do receive housekeeping awards multiple times a year this is concerning to me and rest assured it will be investigated.

The staff that checked us in was not happy to be there, presented no interest in being there. The washroom felt like i was being attacked by the lights and how loud the fan was. I also do not like having the sink outside of the general washroom.
