Mantra on Northbourne is a Great Centrally located place to stay in Canberra. Walking distance to all the City attractions and easy bus or tram ride to any outside the city. More than happy to recommend.

Property is very run down. The room is outdated and so are the bathrooms. The couches were opd and faded, the walls were dirty.Our bathroom had a severe leak when showering. Water from under the bath drain made its way to the carpet outside and soaked the floor. Property is very central in Braddon. However, the hotel is not very safe. We noticed that there is no need to use the swipe card to access the levels once your inside. Being a Accor facility, we honestly thought it would be a clean place, we were disappointed. I did share my feedback with the feont desk and showed photos of our concerns

The registration was so efficient, the staff were knowledgeable on all the sights and doings of the capital, booking out was so easy, would highly recommend the mantra on northbourne.

The trundle (extra spare bed) was very old and uncomfortable, with the springs easily felt through the mattress. I wouldn’t recommend the extra bed at all. It was awkward parking out the front off the main road - multiple cars couldn’t fit.

Good location near restaurant’s. When checking in we were advised the TVs were not working in the rooms. They advised they were working on the issue. Was no further communication nor any offer for reimbursement. Still we’re not working on checkout and still not received $100 held on credit card.

Although a bit dated, this is a reasonably priced hotel that is in easy walking distance to the cbd shops and restaurants. Underground parking, but some parking spaces are really hard to get in and out of - our tip is to turn left upon entering and head to B2 as it’s not such a tight squeeze there. The buffet breakfast was great value!

Our main complaint is over the parking. The parking is very tight if you run a full size SUV. Furniture in unit is somewhat showing its age. Access to kitchen cupboards impossible if you are under 150 cm tall. Otherwise all good.
