I picked this motel due to the proximity to Pier Park, for that I was happy with. After checking in, we read the "rules", did not expect to have to run to store to buy toliet paper, no paper towell either, dish soap, starter pack of dishwasher soap was two packs. Coffee starter pack was two "de-cafs" and after traveling long hours I did not want to wake up to that, needed caffeen. (this was discovered after lobby hours) Luckly I got ahold of housekeeping (early next morning) to at least give us two more rolls of toliet paper, that housekeeper was friendly, and did so as I asked RIGHT away. Dusty funiture, with stains. Only blanket for bunk beds had a nasty "brown" stain, ick. The last complaint I have is that it was SO hard to get my cell phone to work in the room, and I have a smart phone, could not get internet at all, :( now adays that should be a given. I think the motel is WAY understaffed, the staff was friendly enough and helpful, but could not help but hear negitive comments at the pool area about "nobody" at desk to help. With just some simple more staffing I think this could be a MUCH better place to stay at. I will probaly stay at the 4star Sterling Reef next time.
