Very quaint hotel with a beautiful view and nice patio and pool area. Rooms are basic but clean and appropriate for the price. Staff and owners were very friendly and accommodating. They don't regularly serve food, but since hotels.com rate had breakfast included they went out and returned with a nicely prepared breakfast for us which we really appreciated. Easy mototaxi ride to get there. Would stay there again.

Beautiful views from the hotel. The pool was clean an nice, but need some lounge chairs. Plenty of hot water for the shower. A/C worked fine. Bed was comfortable. WIFI was ok.

Beautiful little hotel on top of a hill. Be ready to climb up some steep roads. Rooms are basic but nicely decorated. Sun beds by the pool would be nice. Breakfast only from 7 am. Would be great if they could put at least a DIY coffee station somewhere as they don’t sell any drinks, water or coffee so one doesn’t leave completely without anything if leaving early in the morning.

Good Hotel at a Great Price
We have a wonderful time with the family at Copan Ruinas, we got two rooms. Excellent breakfast included in the price, the hotel has their own parking area which was very convenient at Copan Ruinas. It was easier to leave our vehicle park and use the moto-taxi or walk around the town.

Copan Ruinas is hilly and this hotel was 3 blocks up on top. My view of the mountains and balky was spectacular. Ask for a room with the little balcony at the end of the veranda. Full breakfast at 7:15. A great way to get started. I ate sitting by the pool with plants hanging everywhere. This place is spotless! I left a propina on the bed, she didn’t take it so next day I left a note “tu propina””. She wrote back “gracias”.

Copan stay
We had a lovely time in Copan, and the hotel made our stay great because everything there went smoothly. Checkin was fast and easy, breakfast was delicious, the pool always looked so welcoming, and the room had everything we needed.

Wow!
Un superbe hôtel, un Service excellent, un emplacement de choix, des propriétaires accueillants. Cet hôtel est magnifique, encore plus beau en vrai que sur les photos. La terrasse centrale Avec piscine est décorée de plantes et de beaux meubles en bois. Le personnel est vraiment courtois, stationnement sécurisé, etc. Un vrai coup de coeur, un luxe dans cette belle ville!

Amazing View
Really beautiful view and only 10 Lempiras per person to get to the main square. Easy to get too and the pool is fantastic. Wake up early and enjoy the views of the sunrise and the fog on the mountains.

Nice place with good WiFi
Great place to stay. Good atmosphere. Small, basic room. Decent shower. Clean. The hill is a little into intimidating but really the town is walkable and a joy. Very kind locals. Very safe. Loved Copan!

Hilltop hotel
Clean, pleasant hotel, but quite far up a very steep hill. Offered water in hall but no pitcher or glasses there or in room. Room 10 has a good view of valley

Nice place for short stay
Visited Copan ruinas and stayed two nights in the hotel. Nice hotel in the top of the hill. Small note: even not far from main square, walking to hotel is heavy uphill.

Steep hill, nice pool, nice view.
We had read several reviews from people that complained about the hotel being 3 blocks uphill from the center of town, but we thought those people were just being lazy. However, we found that it really is a very steep hill. I was drenched in sweat after walking to the hotel from the bus station. Fortunately, the hotel had a nice pool to jump into, and the view was worth the walk.

Great stay
The owner Gustavo is nice and accommodating. When he isnt there staff have to call him. Beautiful surroundings, clean and quiet. Air conditioning and the pool were needed as copan can get very hot. Overall nice place and i would stay there again

Overall, the Hotel Buena Vista was nothing more than OK. Upon arrival, the woman at the reception desk seemed completely "clueless" when I told her that we had made a reservation through Expedia. The hotel is on the top of a steep hill. Our room was small, but clean. One night, when we arrived at the hotel at about 9:45, I saw that the towels had not been changed, nor did we receive shampoo for the next day. When I went to the reception desk to ask for these items, an employee who was nearby told me that I could not get these items because he did not have the key to the room where they were stored. When I expressed disappointment, he went to find a key, and, after several minutes, I received the aforementioned items. One day, when I asked if someone could call for a moto-taxi for us, the woman at the reception desk told us to walk a block down the street and get a moto-taxi there. On the previous day when we had asked the same question, the gentleman near the reception desk was happy to make the call. There are no food or drinks available for purchase at the hotel or anywhere in the immediate vicinity as far as we could see. The price for the room was modest, but as they say, "you get what you pay for"!
