Me sorprendió gratamente, son de nueva construcción, modernos , limpios , con todo lo necesario para pasar una estancia agradable y a un corto paseo del centro de la ciudad, cerca de la universidad y del parque. Volvería a alojarme aquí sin dudarlo

The view of the river was nice but it was extremely noisy with people yelling and banging doors until 4am. When they say it is a college dorm, they literally mean it is a college dorm. It is cheap for a reason.

Très bon rapport qualité prix pour Cork
Une résidence étudiante neuve et très bien située. Une grosse réduction sur le parking à quelques centaines de mètres est très pratique si vous venez en voiture. La chambre est confortable bien que le lit est petit. Notre chambre donnait malheureusement sur la route donc était un peu bruyant mais supportable.

Okay for a short trip
Ok for 1 or 2 nights. These are student accommodations so do not expect extra comfort nor services. The rooms are noisy, no TV, internet was not working, small bed and no daily housekeeping.

The room was a bit bland & basic. There was no mention anywhere when we booked that it was student accomodation. Noisy road. Staff not helpful. No greeting on a daily basis when coming & going. Shared kitchen was clean but had no cups or plates & cutlery was minimum. Glad it was only a short stay.

The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The radiator in one room was on full despite it being a hot day. There are a few complexities finding the right apartments in each block and using the door locks. The room by the road was quite loud with traffic, even with the windows closed. The rooms near the back were quieter. The ensuite was clean and modern. I was very impressed with how calm and friendly the reception staff were.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr zweckmässig man darf nicht zu viel erwarten. Die Zimmer sind sehr einfach eingerichtet. Es ist alles einbisschen heruntergekommen, müsste man noch einiges Renovieren.

Great stay
Really nice room with overview of river Lee. The walks are very thin so you hear neighbours speak in their rooms, but people stayed quiet enough. Friendly staff and great location.

I would book somewhere else if I were you.
The place looks completely different to photos in the room. The pictures shown are prespective views of what the room could look like.. after you've furnished it! The rooms are bare, no cleaning products available in room and bed was barely made. Staff wouldn't refund the two extra nights we booked even though we said we would stay one night because nothing else was available. Hotels.com did great and refunded us some money but yeah, do not book here unless you're a student or low on cash. Just book somewhere else, students were still in the communal areas so you can't freely use as it kind of implies in photos. There's not even a bin in your room to put waste in. The staff at the front are lovely and welcoming though, I just think the adverts are misleading.

Superb Value Option for Cork
Amnis House is a superb budget option as prices in Cork on concert nights are very high. The location is brilliant, just beside the city centre and university, within walking distance of everything. I thought it was very clean and modern. By it's nature it's no frills but very comfortable. My room had a full window overlooking the river at the back as if it was in the country.

Unfortunately too noisy
Lovely setting if you get a room on the river side, but the walls are paper thin. Every time someone open a door you can hear it. Only for heavy sleepers. It’s a shame cause the place is really lovely.

Noisy neighbors and no much sleep…
My partner and I spent 2 nights @ Amnis House. The place is very well located - only 5’ walking from the city centre and main bus stops. The staff was very friendly and up to help with whatever was needed. The room was okay - although the mattress was a little uncomfortable. The biggest issue we faced was during the first night: we could hear people passing by our room’s door, opening and closing the door of their rooms; it sounded like some people were having a party in one of the rooms beside ours and we could listen everything from our room. The group stayed up until 3AM slamming the doors and we couldn’t have a good night’s sleep during our first night in. We recommend the place in case you are having a low budget trip but if you care about a nice night of sleep it might not be the best option.

All was fine in general, except the bed which was very lumpy. I am surprised there is such mattress in use in what is otherwise a good place to stay.

Floor was very dirty. H to get a sweeping brush from the kitchen and swept a pile of dust and dirt from the floor. Chocolate stains in the floor. Looked like it hadn’t been swept or mopped in months.

Buona posizione con parcheggio convenzionato (10 euro al giorno). Struttura nuova. Pulizia scarsa (ci siamo trovati il bagno con capelli sul pavimento e un salvaslip nel cestino). Ventola rumorosa e stanza piccola.
