The overall experience was good however we had a rough start. We were assured the elevator was available but upon arrival the elevator did not work and we had to carry everything up 3 flights of steps. This was very inconvenient to say the least. They did send a repair person soon and fixed the elevator but that was a bad start to the weekend. Additionally, the house was infested with roaches and bugs. Exterminator was called but even after spraying we still saw living bugs (roaches and ants). There were not sufficient towels and sheets especially for the pull our sofa beds. The rental company did provide additional items upon request but it was still an inconvenience. There was also a lot (10-15) cigarette buds out side on the lawn area which we had to pick up ourselves. The entire home actually had a faint cigarette smell which was really bad for the family members prone to allergies and asthma. The washer and dryer did not work properly to the point where the rental company took our laundry off property to get it washed and dried. These were all key features we looked into before selecting this house and it was disappointing that we had to call the assistance line several times. The pool was cold throughout the weekend so we were not able to use it as long as we would have liked to. The location of the house was good and walking distance to the beach but considering all the issues we dealt with we would not stay here again.
