I reserved a king but they said they only had a double bed. TV was broken. We had to move our belongings to a 2nd room; the TV was broken in that room also.
There were NO security cameras outside, we felt unsafe.
It was an adjoining room (I did not book) with no security latch. I could have opened that door with a jarring push.
There was no upper latch security lock on the door. A hole had been punched left of the door, so there was no light switch to turn on the pole lamp. There were other huge patched holes in the walls.
3 light bulbs were burnt out.
No trash can, no ice bucket, no coffee maker, no plastic cups, no hairdryer, no tissue box.
Microwave was so rusted out it was unsafe to use.
Toilet seat was too large for the base and racked back and forth in use like it was going to break off.
There was not even ONE chair in the room to sit down.
Hundreds of ants crawling across the bathroom sink. And yes, there was a couple of LIVE roaches crawling on the floor !!!
Hotels.com said I paid the hotel, the refund must come from the hotel. I've spent over 2 weeks calling Samantha, the manager, for a refund. Each time I'm told "she is not there". Once Samantha even answered the phone, said she would connect me to the manager, and finally after 24 mins on HOLD, I finally hung up. I called back many times right then; my call went to the automated voicemail loop with no option to ring the front desk. Samantha does NOT reply to my emails.
Horrible night! I demand a refund!
