Good fun
The park was definitely family friendly. We took our 3 grandchildren for their first holiday park experience. The water park was the biggest draw for them. Some of the other amenities could do with a bit of an update, like the recreation room. An told football game with broken pieces and a table tennis table and a tv in the corner. The cabin we had was clean and very comfortable, with everything we needed. Overall we enjoyed it

Check in was delayed by over 30 mins. When asked if we could check out 30 mins later, we were refused. When asked why that wasn’t acceptable, we were told “things happen” Property had minimal utensils for using the kitchen. Not as clean as desired. Handy man was extremely unpleasant and rude.

As we sent in out SMS the day of your check in, we were suffering from severe staff shortages and could not guarantee a 2pm check in. I would highly recommend staying here as it's got everything you need, it's super convenient with the kids, and just an overall nice experience. Customer service is exceptional as well as the cleanliness of the cabins/park itself. Would definitely come back & stay again.

We have the best stay fir our children and wife , one thing they need to fix is the little water slide is to close to the concrete wall and a couple of children hit their heads against it , including mine . Needs a rubber protection put against the concrete wall. Apart from that would recommend to anyone , had a great time . I did tell the head in the office about the concrete wall . She said she was going to bring it up with management, I hope she does . But a great time had by all . My daughter has a bruising and a cut on her eye with the concrete but she will be ok, I’m hoping management take this on board and fix . As it is an easy fix if they follow through. Great place

The location was ideal (near the zoo). It had a room free (during a busy period). The internet worked. The room had some space and good equipment.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially as I had booked incorrectly for my four children. They helped me adjust the booking with no hassles, and were so lovely and kind, offering board games and DVDs to borrow too. The cabin was perfect, tidy, quiet and convenient. Very happy.

When we arrived, I noticed hair on the vanity sink from somebody shaving my one and a half year, old daughter was crawling on the floor the clothes went black from dirt on the carbon floor. Also her feet knees palms also dirty. My oldest daughter went to jump in the bank. Pull the doona back and the sheets and hair crumbs and it and have photos to prove my partner went to reception the next morning as no one would not answer any phones at night they did send cleaners in which renewed sheets and towels we think they mopped the floor but they’re was still hair on the sinks etc

Value for money, great park. A few little issues in the cabins which are an easy fix. Mouldy shower, rangehood filthy and not working, very mouldy and broken plug for the sink. Apart from those little fixable things it’s a great tidy park. Would recommend especially for families.

Our cabin was outdated and in desperate need of some tlc, a renovation and better cleaning. The beds were comfortable and the linen was clean but for the cost we paid per night, we expected more.

Property was great for families. Rooms big and spacious. Only thing I could say is they were a bit dated. Flooring needs updating but overall a pleasing experience.

We had to get some accommodation fast in the Dubbo area. Discovery Parks was an easy choice, easy access, affordable, close to restaurants. We had a tent wich was good, it had both air and heating, wich was necessary, due to warm days and cold nights. Only slept there so cannot say about the other facilities. Anyways it was great at a ok price setting.

Our stay was great all around except another guest decided to take our car park next to our cabin when we returned late from a funeral on our second night which ment we had to try and find somewhere else to park with tired kids.

It's a holiday park so you have a mix of campers, caravans and people renting units. The pool area is nowhere near big enough when a large number of guests use it. The pool rules are also not enforced so if the others staying aren't helpful they'll be running, bombing and brining food/glass into the pool area. Also if you stay more than one night, if you want replacement bath towels it is $10. On our first stay pool towels were available, this time they werent. Reception is only open between something like 8:30am and 5:30pm. Good luck getting any staff at all outside those hours.

2 bedroom Deluxe cabin was comfortable with everything you need to explore the zoo, goal and local restaurants. Kids loved the waterslide and pools, highly recommended.
