Stayed in an accessible room which was well appointed, though it would have benefited from a couple more accessible shelves as the drinking glasses were next to the toilet. Would have like a fridge in the room. I felt the breakfast was too expensive but it was good.

Easy to get too with onsite parking. Staff are very accommodating and the facilities are easy to access. We stayed overnight and enjoyed a spa day following. Would stay again

Not what I expected at all. The hotel was tired and very bland. No different than a travel lodge - other than price. Would not stay again. Disappointing.

Was absolutely lovely stay, just weren't given walk around or hasn't been navigated... no one asked me if I'm here firt time or not and literally I couldn't find my door number as it was not 1234 my number were right in the end when number before my number were in the middle of the corridor, I were very tired when I arrived, had practical almost like an exam day l day, had a long drive in the morning and had to go back all the way for a help, were asking reception where is restaurant and which way is the spa, (just an advise for future...) : In the same time while doing check-in could show with the hand what can you do in here for example if you like to have a spa or which way is the restaurant just show it so guests wouldn't need to keep ringing or coming back and asking every separate thing over and over again x It's time consuming x Food was brilliant!

Poor check-in, receptionist unfriendly, room key wouldn’t work and then someone already in the room. Back at reception we were told the key was right but wrong room number. Given different room but no apology. Not best start when you’ve been driving for 5 hours. Hotel was clean and comfortable but a bit dated. Good central location.

The Hotel itself is fantastic but their Restaurant called Collage is just awful, the prices they charge for the standard of food, is disgusting, i had ribeye steak, chips and served with watercress, thats it for £30, the steak was full of gristle and the chips were bog standard frozen ones, not the standard you expect from a hotel like Radisson Blu

Parking charges on top of say .30mins checkin. Seen better superior rooms in lower * chains long queue for breakfast sfaff seemed overwhelmed. Short on staff. Members on duty trying to do 10 things at once.

I had a lovely stay and a very comfortable room. I did not like not being able to get a coffee from the bar, my son was told they were not serving coffee while they served drinks to people going in for their Christmas party. He had been able to but drinks but, I don’t drink alcohol so, instead of paying a lot to stay there, I was not allowed my choice of drink and had to have a lime and lemon. I do not want to hear that you are sorry, I feel it was discrimination.

Brilliant Hotel
We stayed for 2 nights & it was excellent. Location is spot on, staff very friendly & efficient & room was large & spotless with lovely views over the river. Couldn't of asked for more & will definitely be back.

Birthday treat
Our stay at the hotel was just what we hoped for. The room overlooked the river and we had a beautiful view of the cathedral and castle. We had a king size bed and found the temperature in the room most pleasant even though the weather was particularly cold. The little bridge from the hotel into the city made it very easy to access everything. We appreciated having a place to park the car, even though we had to pay, so that we knew that it was safe. We never used the car while we were there as everything we wanted was in walking distance. The choice of food for the breakfasts was excellent. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We glanced at the gym and swimming pool, but in two days we did not have time to use them.

Extremely disappointed
Everything was amazing the staff, the bar staff, the hospitality… but we both kept falling between our “standard room” beds!! I don’t except 2 beds being put together after paying £190 for a night I was extremely disappointed! I felt robbed what I paid for and it’s not up to standard! I asked about electric charging points (which were full no issues there), but being offered a £5 parking fee on booking then to be paying £14. I’m extremely disappointed in my experience

Excellent hotel.
We were in room 347. The room was very comfortable. We had a queen sized bed, okay but in future I'll ask for a king size upgrade. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were spot on, plenty of choice and very tasty. We used the spa facilities twice and both times were very good. Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and a decent sized pool plus loungers. An excellent hotel thats really close to the main tourist attractions,Durham Cathedral and Castle, Riverside Walks and superb restaurants. We will be returning again in the future.
