Muybuena opcion para Edinburgo sobretodo por spa
Hotel moderno con excelente spa (aunque con costos adicionales), Muy agradable llegar al final del dia y relajarse tanto en el spa como en el bar y la comoda habitacion.

The room cleanliness and comfort were great. We chose this hotel because of the location and it was an excellent choice. The breakfast was excellent, so was the treatment by everybody in the staff. The only minus, but I don't consider it a major thing, was that there were few bathroom amenities. Overall, we were very pleased with this hotel and would definitely go back.

Hotel encantador junto a Prince Streets Gardens, a los pies de donde se ubica el castillo y a 10 minutos de The Royal Mile, Grassmarket y Dean Village. El personal de recepción es encantador.

Room was ok no hot water in one of the two bedrooms we had, confusing light system for the bathroom, hair in the orange juice, dirty milk jug, some of the facilities in the spa did not seem to work ie salt room if it was working no clear instructions were given also turkish room not working anybody seemed to be allowed in. very disappointing as this hotel used to have a fierce reputation. NOT worth the money.

Love this hotel- clean and very convenient location. Since I had a longer stay, hotel staff put me on a higher floor. They were always ready to help! I wanted to try the Spa but didn’t get a chance, hopefully next time.

Das Reinigungsteam könnte besser putzen. Ebenso wurde das Kaffeepulver, die Milch und das Wasser nicht aufgefüllt. Personal an der Rezeption, beim Frühstück und der Concierce waren sehr freundlich und machen einen super Job :-)

Most Definitely NOT 5 Star Service
I have always wanted to stay here, and we were very much looking forward to our trip. I stay in hotels throughout the UK week in week out and can honestly say that the "welcome " we received was one of the worst ever. The Concierge was blunt and downright rude, there were 2 people on reception one male one female. In the 15 minutes we stood waiting to check-in the male had sorted out 4 people then us whilst the female chattered away to the same group she was checking in!! I am supposed to have "Gold" status, nothing was said. I normally get a free upgrade or a drink, again nothing was said. Not a great start. The room was fine, clean and smart but half the lights didnt work and there was a CONSTANT drone from what I assume was the pool? It was like trying to sleep beside an idling deisel engine! I have stayed in nicer 3 and 4 star hotels quite honestly. The restaurant was closed as well which wasnt ideal. Overall we were left feeling quite let down.

Lovely hotel - great staff
Hotel was extremely clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was closed for renovations so all meals were served in the bar which was fine. We found the menu limited but the food was good. Rooms were spacious and very warm but would opt for a castle view if we stayed again - not to necessarily see the castle but to avoid the noise from the plant / air conditioning units outside.

Had an accident where I was sick in bed ! Charged an extortion for cleaning Then meals via Room Service - soup was hardly warm and main course chicken was so tiny I thought it was a children’s portion !! Won’t be back

Hogmanay getaway !
Spa is brilliant. Position is excellent. Room and bed very comfortable. Breakfast buffet on the good side of average, but need another coffee machine to cut down queues. All staff notably very friendly and helpful. Excellent base for our Hogmanay getaway!

Amazing hotel.
We love this hotel but the increased prices makes it a bit harder to justify the yearly trip. The big reason we go is for the deluxe room and the spa, previously as a guest it was £25pp to access the full spa but has increased to £35pp for 3 hours. When you are paying £330 for a room I think the additional £70 is a bit steep. This is overall an additional £100 we payed out on this visit compared to previous visit. The spa is brilliant and one of the best we have been to but think a better price when staying in the hotel would be better. The hotel is first class. The service is second to none. There is really nothing to fault about this hotel apart from the spa price. It is brilliantly located, walking distance from Princess Street and loads of bars restaurants whatever you need its not far. We love this hotel and if you are willing to splurge a bit then I highly recommend it.

Lovely stay here. The Sheraton is a classic for Edinburgh. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Seems like a random fact but I loved having a nightlight so I didn’t wake my partner in the night. (Usually lights are a problem in hotel moving around in the night)

Gutes, schönes Hotel. Zimmer gut und sauber, Frühstück mit überfordertem Personal mit Langer Wartezeit, das bestellte Ei kam gar nie an bevor wir wieder weggingen vom Frühstück. Dies also nur wenn man viel Zeit hat und kein Problem mit langen Schlangen hat. Die Bar in der 2. Etage ist wirklich toll und die Scones weltklasse. Für das One Spa muss man wirklich nicht kommen. Behandlungsräume und Personal 1a, aber das Jacuzzi auf dem Dach abgehalftert mit stark korrodierten Einlässen, schleimig-rutschige Stufen unter Wasser, alten Kacheln, wirklich gruselig (nicht-) geputzten Toiletten,…. das Schwimmen im grossen Indppr Pool ist schön, aber man sieht dem ganzen Nass-Trakt an dass er in die Jahre kommt und nicht gut gepflegt und geputzt eird meine ich. Da das alles ja auch nicht umsonst ist (Aussen-Jacuzzi kostet auch für Hotelgäste Aufpreis, was ich schon gewagt finde, selbst wenn es topgepflegt wäre) darf man glaub ich mehr erwarten hier. Kurzum: tolles Hotel, tolle Location, tolle Zeit - aber nicht für Spa-Enthusiasten oder Leute, die gern was essbares in der Minibar haben, das gibt es nämlich nicht, genausowenig wie einen Kiosk.
