Had kids knocking on my door asking if there was a chair they can borrow. Grass overgrown. I got bites on my neck/shoulders and brought it up to front desk. For the most part clean, but very run down. Get what you pay for. Staff were very friendly.

I checked out minutes after arriving due to the incredibly sketchy feeling I had waking to my room entrance, and finding various life bugs. This property is not fit for accommodating road weary travellers. Do not recommend!

While biking the C&O Canal trail, we needed a one-night stay; glad it was only one night. Check-in and check-out staff were nice--there's only so much they can do to this place. It needs work. Sad because it's convenient to the trail and we'd like to tell our friends to stay there, but we won't.

Roadside Motel
The hotel is run down. There are taped up notices plastering the check-in process. Including notices about being charged for linens and unwanted guests etc. The room was tidy but very worn, and the bathroom door had a giant hole at the latch where it had obviously been broken into, and would no longer close. It was more like a roadside cheap motel than a typical red roof inn.

Dirty room - built up grime and dirt in several places which tells me it’s a constant problem. Strong smell of smoke/MJ. Flimsy door locks that are so loose it’s obvious they simply don’t want to take the time to tighten them or re-drill the stripped holes. People in nearby rooms must live here because they have plants/food dishes outside their room and have cats coming and going in/out of the room. Would not stay here again.

Was supposed to have Wi-Fi, but it didn’t work. When we called the front desk to ask about it they said they were rebooting it and it would be on - it was off all three days we were there. There was a column outside our room that was crumbling and didn’t look safe. I thought there was supposed to be a smoking area and didn’t see one, but that could be on me. The staff were all friendly and nice though but that’s about the only thing going for this property.

I had a very good experience at this hotel. All staff I encountered were helpful and friendly. My room was clean and comfortable. This was the best hotel I stayed in out of 3. The front desk also told me about a wonderful Italian restaurant nearby.

Right off 81 super convenient. Great price. People super nice and accommodating. Room was clean comfortable, but in need of a few repairs, such as lamp not working, rubber strip at bottom of wall was coming off, shower calking was in need of replacing. Outside noise from neighbors penetrated doors and walls easily. A/C worked and nice black out drapes.
