Mala experiencia
Hotel muy descuidado con bajo mantenimiento. Suelo de moqueta en habitaciones, muy sucio. En general, bastante sucio, con humedades en las paredes. El agua caliente y la calefacción funcionaban mal. Había goteras en la habitación, durante los días de lluvia por filtraciones. Desayuno pobre.

Por algún motivo ignoraron mi petición de revisar la TV ya que nunca pude encenderla. La habitación tenía un olor a drenaje. En general la habitación estaba descuidada. Personal amable y buen trato.

I am very surprised you have been given dirty blanket. the rooms checked daily by the housekeeping manager. you should have asked us to change it. we do our best to keep our hotel up to standards.

Buena ubicación, descuido con la limpieza.
El servicio en el hotel varía dependiendo del empleado a cargo. No limpian hasta que uno lo exije y aún así deja mucho que desear. Muy buena ubicación. Con más atención y mantenimiento podría mejorar mucho, pues se ve muy descuidado. Por el mismo precio podría dar mejor atención. Cuidado con los taxistas que el hotel llama, son desatentos y no les importa dejarlo a uno en donde quieran y no donde uno solicita, con tal de cobrar.

Not recommended at all.
We payed for a deluxe room with balcony and two beds, and didn’t get that room because they didn’t had any available. The hotel was fully booked (or so they said), so they gave us the last room that had, which was smaller and only one bed. The rudeness of the hotel help desk did not helped. I wouldn’t stay there anymore, nor recommend to anyone I know. Breakfast is so vague, hotel was not very clean and looks antiquated. Location is not in the main touristic area.

Pésimo servicio, pésimo hotel, no recomendado, el desayuno muy pobre, el estacionamiento con costo adicional y ahí dice que lo incluye, para pedir toallas o sábanas extras, las tienes que pedir un día antes, no hacen el cuarto diario y si lo hacen solo limpian un poco.

El hotel es un edificio viejo que requiere renocacion inmediata. Es una pena ya que el edificio antiguo. el personal muy amable y relativamente bien ubicado del area de la ciudad vieja. Desayuno continental muy escaso

Humilde, pero cómodo, limpio y bien situado
En primer lugar decir que como siempre hago, voy a dar una opinión libre y real de mi estancia en el Hotel Addar, porque creo que puede servir para otros viajeros. Pongo esto porque tuvimos un incidente con un trabajador del hotel, el día que llegamos desde Hoteles.com me mandaron una encuesta y puse que la habitación no era lo que esperaba, dado que habíamos pagado una habitación triple y nos habían dado una doble + cama supletoria, que no es lo mismo, al día siguiente una persona de la recepción, al principio de no muy buenas formas, nos "increpo" porque no nos habíamos quejado a ellos pero si dado esa opinión en internet, al final hablando aclaramos las cosas pero fue una situación desagradable. En cuanto al hotel decir, esta a 10 minutos andando de la Puerta de Damasco, es decir de la zona turistica, por lo que esta bien situado, esta limpio que es importante y es de los hoteles mas económicos seguramente que se encuentren por ese precio en Jerusalen. Esta algo anticuado, si que le vendría bien unos arreglillos, pero como digo limpio y es cómodo.Frente al hotel hay un cajero (siempre viene bien) y en esa calle hay una tienda 24h que tienen bocadillos, kebab,... siempre viene bien por si estas cansado cenar y al hotel, eso si no venden alcohol. La Wifi que había leido que no funcionaba, funciona bien pero hay que cambiar en cada planta de wifi. El desayuno, tostadas, mantequilla, mermelada, café y te, no esperéis mas. En resumen REPETIRIAMOS, buena calidad-precio

Decepcionante
El estado de conservación en que se encuentra el hotel es lamentable, tanto en zonas comunes como habitaciones. La supuesta "bañera de hidromasaje" ni funcionaba ni tenia tapón (el recepcionista dijo que habia restricciones de agua del gobierno). No llegaba la wifi a la habitación; el desayuno muy pobre y sin variación ninguna. El personal fue amable, pero nos "desapareció" misteriosamente un cable de conexión para tablet que teniamos guardado en un bolso, cable que no pudimos comprar en ninguna tienda de Israel por no estar disponible. Suponemos que por ello "desapareció"...

No TV; No limpieza; el agua de lluvia caía dentro de la habitación; la calefacción no funciona y además al cambiarme de hotel 3 días antes de lo pagado por adelantado no me lo han devuelto, ni quisieron firmar nada, una vergüenza.

We love the property even though it has aged a little. Closer to the light rail station, bus stops and little eateries which are only a few minutes from the hotel. Very clean room which are serviced daily. Air con working great. Naif is an asset to the hotel. Very friendly guy who looked after us so well during our entire stay. Very attentive and switched on. Thank you Addar hotel for looking after us so well in this difficult time. God bless, Misi & Sai (Rm 25).

The hotel itself is old and could definitely benefit from an upgrade, however it was clean. The staff certainly were very hospitable and did everything to ensure our stay was pleasant. Breakfast was great.

Hotel antigo, necessitando de renovação mas isso não diminuiu nossa hopedagem, pois fomos muito bem atendidos especialmente pelo Sr Abraham e o Naef que nos servia o café da manhã. Localização excelente, perto do Portão de Damasco e Tomb Garden. Café da manhã bom mas faltava frutas frescas. Quarto de bom tamanho e atendeu nossas expectativas. Adoramos.

크지않고 아담한 아랍 호텔입니다. 주변에 큰 호텔에 피하면 초라하게 느껴질수 있지만 아담한 정원에서의 조식을 먹는 기분은 색다릅니다. 물론 조식은 식빵과 커피, 삶은 달걀 정도이지만.. 방은 비록 오래되고 낡았지만 방은 청결하고 잘 정돈되어 있으며 직원들이 친절합니다. 예루살렘 구시가지와 메아쉐아림을 걸어갈수 있는 거리에 있습니다. 가격대비 추천할수 있는 호텔입니다.

The room dirty Their treatment is terrible and they are not friendly. Breakfast is only 3 courses. The entire place is dirty. I have never seen anything ugly like this hotel in my life. The air conditioner is annoying and does not work properly. The electricity was disconnected 5 times. I can't give this hotel even half a star

Thank you so much for your review. We asked us to change your room because the A/C sound was annoying, so we changed your room, and you were ok with it. You asked us to find a place to park your car for free, and we directed you. Our car park is not free. the power cut, which happened this morning a few times. The problem was outside the hotel. It is from the electric company. And for breakfast, we provide far more than three courses. Thank you for your review.

I would have to say the team have been amazing we have spent 8 nights at the Hotel, it's a 3 Star Hotel, please don't turn up thinking you are checking into a 5 star Hotel if you have booked then you will understand its a 3 Star, when you see things around you, you will know how luck you are to check into a safe place and know they look after you very well, Honest for where it is and how easy it is to get around 10 mins to the old city, it's the cheapest in the area and with breakfast, we are so happy with everything and the effort staff made each day to make us feel like part of the Hotel Addar Family, Naif that serves breakfast every day is one of the hardest workers I have seen and gave us great help and advice each day, he remember each day what we liked and would get breakfast ready and always take time to chat, what a great host he made our stay so much better. At night we went down and spent time in the garden and had tea and coffee with other guests nice way to unwind from a busy day, From management to the reception staff we couldn't ask for better. The hotel rooms are old but to be honest the beds, towels etc. was always clean and changed when we wanted, be nice and the staff will help with whatever you want or need, nothing is a problem. I feel luck to have spent my 8 days with Hotel Addar. I read the other views on hear and some I think is unfair, I walk away feeling grateful and for all they do! Keep up the great work team and the amazing customer service.James x

Staff kept opening my door 3 times on 2 days
Everything was fine except the staff literary opened my locked hotel door 3 times in 2 days, this is not acceptable, you knock and you ask plus there is no purpose in literary opening door just to see “if you are there” as it was during late or very early times hours before check out, what’s going on? It made me feel very insecure about leaving my valuables unattended with this type of behavior. The staff is not helpful either, you are just one more customer they won’t care or see again. I’ve read the hotel was old and basically forgotten but I’ve booked due to proximity to the old city and because I wanted to stay in an old style hotel that was built at least 100 years ago.

The hotel was great. The most valuable part of it is Abraham the greeter, desk clerk and the back bone of the whole operation. He offered his service at our whim and was extremely helpful with out requests. The breakfast was very good, our room was excellent and overall our stay was perfect.

best price / quality ratio in town ! Affordable, friendly staff, perfect location, easy access. Beautiful garden (breakfast possible there if weather permits)
