Stayed here last night for a quick night away and will definitely be staying there again! The price was a great selling point, but the charm of the 1947 small cabin rooms made the trip worthwhile. The rooms have been redone with modern amenities. They were very comfortable and i slept so good that i didnt wake up all night (which i havent done in awhile). Definitely recommend this place for a night or a week or longer if needed!

We love Westport Inn! It’s the either last stop for us before leaving Mo or a wonderful welcome home. The cabins are very nicely decorated and have all the amenities need for a stop on our way home. Thank you again for a great stay.

Nice and clean . I was a little bit scared to be alone in that little cottage. But everything was fine. I like it :)

Thank you for your review. We pride our property for being very safe. Guests seem to love our property with easy and convenient parking right by your unit, individual cottages to give you that at home feeling, as well as being on Route 66.

Checking in was an easy process all remotely done. Communication with the property management was easy. The property is very well kept and the rooms are absolutely adorable. We were able to park directly behind our own personal unit. Highly recommend staying in this place and I will definitely be back.

What a great experience! Our room was decorated so cute and clean. If you want that at home feel this is definitely the place to go. We called to confirm our reservation and the lady who we spoke to was so helpful and friendly. Finding our room was super easy and convenient to park behind. This will be my go to every time I'm in the Joplin area.

We made a reservation on line. We got to the property at 8:40 pm and since there was no one at the office, called the phone number listed. No answer there either. Left a message to get instructions for check/in. Their voicemail said they would call back ASAP. After 20 minutes, I called again - same results. After 45 minutes, called again and said we were going somewhere else to stay. Terrible customer service. So disappointing.

Nice place, read check in procedures
We've stayed here a few times. Cottages are cute and clean. My only concern was with ck in. If you can't get there by 4, make sure you call them and she will text or email your code to get into your room. We didn't make it because of weather and accident issues on our travels this time, it took a couple hours to reach her to get it. But if you let them know b4 4, it has always worked for us.

The cottage we had at the Westport Inn was darling. It is an historic motor hotel and very well furnished. We arrived at 6 pm and no one was in the office and no answer on the phone number until about 15 min later when we did hear from the owner and could get into our prepaid room. Our information was received by text but when I later asked a question about an available hair dryer, I received no answer.

Oh no! We're sorry that you were unable to get a hairdryer when requested. We try to keep items like this in all units to avoid any inconveniences but, sometimes people tend to take them and we run short from having such items available all the time. We do apologize for such an inconvenience but we do appreciate you staying with us. Thank you.

Not a safe place to stay.
Everything is decorated beautifully. I will say that. My son and I were there for a family gathering. We had a pleasent stay, the bed was quite comfortable. HOWEVER...I was charge on my credit card twice. So upon questioning the charges I was sent a picture of drugs, that I was being accused of leaving in the room. A needle and drugs to be exact. That tells me that the room was not clean for one. But why were authorities not contacted? Why was charging my credit card even an option. I had to fight to get my money back. I am appalled that I was in that room with my son and a drug needle was in the drawer. I was literally shaking and crying when I received the picture and accusations. What if he had found it? It was already strange enough that upon check in that I was only asked for a text message containing my drivers licenses. I did not know that hotels.com gave my credit card info to the hotel. I thought it was a secure and safe transaction. I do not recommend anyone stay here.

Very clean and quiet. Convenient for me and close to the airport. Everything I needed without paying for things I didn’t need. I have stayed here before and will again in the future.

Wir hatten Probleme beim Check-in, laut Buchung kann man ab 15:00 einchecken als wir um 16:15 ankamen war keiner da. Wir haben dann den Anbieter kontaktiert, konnten ihn aber erst nicht erreichen, nach einer halben Stunde hat er zurückgerufen und uns gegen ein Foto vom Ausweis einen Türcode geschickt, ab dann war alles super. Im Badezimmer könnte noch etwas grundlicher geputzt werden und an sich war das Zimmer schon Seeeehr klein aber für eine Nacht völlig ausreichend. Gerne wieder

Cozy & comfortable.
We will stay here again! Great location, nicely decorated, comfortable bed with lots of pillows. Our unit was a stand-alone cabin with a king-size bed. Reserved parking right behind the cabin. It could have been cleaner but overall we were pleased with our stay.

The pros: The cottage was in a great location. The diner across the street "Babes" was such a treat. Check in was very easy. Air conditioning worked great as did the hot water. The decor was so cute. The mini fridge and microwave were a plus as well. The cons: The wifi was awful and we couldn't watch TV due to buffering. I texted management to see if there was a fix but did not get a response. The bed was very hard and only had two pillows. We also only had 2 towels for two people for 2 nights. Since I did not get a response to my text about the wifi, we just went to the store and bought a couple of towels and pillows. Overall- the place was so so. For $100 a night we could have stayed at a chain hotel with better amenities. Next time we will read the reviews more closely.

Im sorry there was such inconveniences with your stay. As much as I would love to say our internet is perfect and always works, I can not. Some times it does not always works as fast as we would like but, thats just the world we live in. Unfortunately, not every bed is for every guest. Some say our beds are too hard and some say they are too soft, some say that they had the best sleep that they've had in a long time. It all depends on the person. Our guests chose our hotel to get away from big chains and love our unique charm. It makes us sad to hear that you're not one of them. We pride ourselves on having great reviews for the most part but, being a small, locally owned hotel with limited staff we do our best to make sure every single guest has the best possible experience.

The cottage idea is cool. The property for the most part was clean and tidy. The rugs and floor in the bathroom were dirty. The mattress was worn out and not very comfortable. There was no human contact, but the phone calls and texts were straightforward and pleasant. All things considered, not a bad place to spend the night.

I wasn't sure what i was getting into but the posted pictures wàs enough to lure me into a place that didnt subject how great a place i was getting into. I booked upon the location close to route 66 and wow mind blown...i only booked this outside of a normal boring hotel because i was traveling with my fiancee and this place noo matter what is mind blowing...highly recommended for a stay or a pass through...Amber's awesome and so is this remarkable place and also there's an awesome restaurant next door that opens at 930 am....please stop in its the last and most comforting motor court in our modern world a great addiction to route 66 G

Special Experience
This is not a cookie cutter hotel. It's a special experience. Stay in a small cottage, clean and nicely decorated. Because this is a family operation, don't rely on your computer reservation - call ahead and make sure that you know how to access your cottage after hours (the office is open 10 am to 4 pm - if you don't call ahead, you might not learn how to get in to your cottage.)
