We really enjoyed this vacation and the hotel is in the perfect place in the town of Pigadia. We will be coming back for sure. Prices were exceptional for everything too. We loved staying at a beautiful resort that did not gouge for prices at the hotel bar/restaurant etc. so reasonable

location good, hotel facilities above average, BUT there was zero follow through or assistance from the staff. thoroughly unorganized and disinterested in helping arrange activities, etc. no room service, no coffee or tea in the room - and above all else DO NOT STAY HERE IN THE SUMMER!! the entire hotel is hot, they limit the thermostat in the rooms and the maids will completely turn off your ac when they clean even if you request otherwise.

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your experiences. As far as the room service and tea/coffee facilities are concerned we have the covid19 protols to follow and therefore we are not able to offer all services promoted. We are totally surprised to see your comments regarding the a/c as it is fully operational 24 h a day, but is of course closed automatically when the guests leave the room or if any entrance door or balcony door is open which is mostly the case when the cleaning staff enters and the a/c works with sensors. At the moment we are facing a high occupancy and we do not have other guests referring to similar observations. We do not understand your comment regarding arranging activities as we have a guest relation clerk to assist with any kind of information required. We hope to welcome you back again another time, hopefully post covid. All the best for the rest of the summer.

Hotel molto pulito, cambiano asciugamani e lenzuola tutti i giorni, addirittura i teli mare si possono cambiare anche a metà giornata! Colazione sia dolce che salata, per quanto riguarda la gena ogni sera c'è qualcosa di diverso, le cene sono a tema. Il personale è disponibile ed alcuni parlano molto bene l'italiano. Manca animazione la sera, ma tutto si risolve con una passeggiata nel piccolo centro, dove si possono trovare negozietti di souvenir e anche dei market.

Cortesia del personale, pulizia della camera e bagno, locali comuni, posizione della struttura comoda al paese di Pigadia, è concepita in modo funzionale e da direttamente sulla spiaggia. Le uniche due cose negative manca la possibilità a colazione di una macchina per il caffè cappuccino ecc...e la palestra potrebbe chiudere alle 20.00/21.00.

beautiful hotel for perfect vacation
Superb hotel with a private beach in a walking distance from Pigadia. You may chose between beds next to the eternity pool or at the beach, both feels like heaven.

Fantastiskt hotell. Rent, snyggt och bra mat. Vi hade frukost och körde roomservice någon kväll. Testade även poolmenyn som var bra. Rekommenderar att åka till närliggande stränder som är bra mycket finare än stranden nedanför hotellet. Har ni inte bil kan man ta sig med Taxi till Amoopi beach för 15 EUR.

Veldig bra!
Vårt fjerde opphold på Alimounda Mare. Flott hotell, hyggelige ansatte, stort utvalg og velsmakende frokost, lunsj og middagsbuffet. Temakvelder på middagsbuffet (Gresk, Asiatisk mv.) Ok renhold, men kan bli bedre. Ok strand, men stenete. Badesko anbefales. Hotellet har egen kiosk med fornuftige priser. Ca 10 min gange til sentrum.

Alimunda mare un vero 5 stelle. Pulizia,confort,gentilezza del personale e ottima cucina. Per non parlare della meravigliosa piscina affacciata direttamente sul mare, con zona separata x bambini. Per i bambini potete trovare anche una stanza gioco dove i piccoli ospiti possono divertirsi. Qualunque cosa avrete bisogno il personale dell'Alimunda Mare soddisfera' la vs richiesta. Lo definisco con un'unica parola: MERAVIGLIOSO. Consiglio questo hotel anche per l'ottima posizione 300 mt da Pigadia dove potrete trovare una zona pedonale con bar, taverne e negozi per fare i vs acquisti. Che dire ancora: se cercate un hotel raffinato soggiornate a l'Alimunda Mare il numero 1 di Karpathos

Albergo splendido, ma personale sgarbato
Albergo molto bello, splendida posizione. Personale e cucina deludenti: i camerieri trattano gli Italiani in modo sgarbato rispetto agli altri clienti stranieri e anche il cibo segue i gusti nordici. Cibi troppo elaborati e poco pesce. Il personale parla solo inglese. Le bevande sono carissime e ci speculano sopra parecchio!

fantastica struttura in karpathos
Per la prima volta a Karpathos in vacanza con mio marito,abbiamo soggionato in suite,esperienza fantastica,massimo del confort,posizione eccellente,non manca nulla ,siamo rimasti in hotel per numerose cene in quanto fantastiche non solo per la qualità del cibo ma anche per la bellezza di una cena vista mare nella veranda della zona ristorante,riparato dal vento la considero un'ottima struttura. Karpathos è una vacanza tranquilla,adatta soprattutto per coppie e coppie di amici,le spiagge sono veramente spettacolari. consiglio vivamente sia l'isola che la struttura,il periodo di agosto però e' fortemente battuto dai venti,meglio giugno,luglio,settembre.

Ottimo hotel 5 stelle, vicino al centro, servizi, pulizia e ristorazione veramente da 5 stelle. Se vogliamo trovare un difetto: l'ingresso in mare non è agevole per la presenza di sassi, problema risolvibile se si hanno le scarpette da acqua. Servizio in spiaggia, ottimo. Lo consiglio.

Odd place!
Very regimented Hotel. Weird towel rules and fines for failing to return plastic key cards! We were told we had to leave after one day because they’d made a booking mistake. Left us worrying overnight before finally saying we could stay in the room we had booked, and already paid for, after all. No explanation and no apology. Overall not anywhere near a four or five star hotel. Tv didn’t work. No mini bar etc. Staff a bit sour and seemed unhappy. Didn’t feel like a very happy ship.

Super séjour , cependant il peut y avoir des points a apporter a l'hôtel alimounda . Une collation gratuite serrait bien venue a l'arrivé après des heures de transport surtout en pension complète , idem pour le retour . Pouvoir prendre une douche avant le départ dans l'âpres midi . Avoir un ou une réceptionniste qui parle un peut Français . Nous sommes quand même dans un 5 étoiles . Autrement tout était super bien Merci. Continuez avec cette exigence . Cordialement

Hotel molto bello, camera standard ampia e sempre molto pulita. Unica pecca, la stanza era in un angolo un po' sacrificato e la terrazza un po' chiusa dalla terrazza dei nostri vicini...in complesso, ottima scelta. Buona anche la colazione.

Best hotel in Karpathos
It's really difficult for me to describe just how perfect this hotel is, but I will give it a try. Everything about our stay was superb. We had the waterfront sea view room which we strongly recommend, even though it is slightly more expensive, but well worth it! The room is very spacious and very clean. The beds are very comfortable as well. The pools is perfect. Great temperature, well serviced and bed space is always available no matter how packed the hotel is. The staff are extremely friendly all over the hotel. They made our trip so much more enjoyable. They were always helpful and always willing to help, even when it came to certain recommendations on the island (beaches, restaurants...etc). We ended up making a few new friends at the hotel even! The food is delicious regardless of where you eat. The breakfast is perfect with a massive selection of different options. We never ate dinner at the hotel, or had the lunch buffet, but I can tell you everything on the menu was super delicious. The location is very convenient. There is a supermarket 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The town is around a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The walk to the town is perfect because you get to explore all the little shops on the way to the port. We strongly recommend this hotel to any visitor to the island. Trust me it will make the trip.
