Motel 6 in Freeport was and has always been a great place to stay .. They even let me check in before 3 and didn't charge me the 20 that other hotels demanded.. Thanks Motel 6 Freeport ❤️😁

When booking the room I did put in there for it to be on the bottom floor because my mom is handicap. However, that didn’t get saved on the reservation so they put us upstairs then we go to the pool there’s no chairs no tables for anyone to sit down again my mom’s handicap she’s still trying to live so there needs to be chairs. I go to tell them the one girl at the front was really nice. She was the only one that could speak English. I was asking the other women questions and they told me no English. We ended up having to call my mom and ambulance because she wasn’t able to breathe from going up and down the stairs.

Pictures of the facility is way off, people actually living in the rooms full time, quite odd people, dirty sidewalks trash over filled, i would not recommend staying there

I booked a king, smoking room. Got a double full non smoking. There is sketchy people walking around. There is multiple burn holes in both of the comforters.

The hotel staff at checkin was nice and friendly. The housekeeper lady was amazing but the room had knats that kept coming from the vents. The people on both sides of us kept disturbing us and the parking lot is way to small

Cheap, quiet
Hotel is cheap, in reasonable repair, nice to have vinyl plank flooring instead of dirty carpet. It was quiet, and air conditioning worked well. However mattress moves every time you turn over, and, since some rooms are smoking rooms, every hotel room smells like a trace of smoke, and the bathroom towels were nasty with the smell of smoke.

I was very disappointed. I did not expect a 5-star hotel, I was looking for basic and clean. I found towels like sandpaper, which was not a big deal for an economy motel. The smell was like an old, musty room that had been closed up for years. The top of the mattress was very indented, I suppose by people using the phone. The floor was a very old and used wood-look laminate that was in severe need of repair. The walls were splattered with several unknown liquids, especially around the switch plates. (I have pictures) The light switches were disgustingly dirty. (I have pictures) I will recommend that anyone wanting a room to go almost anywhere else. Cleanliness is my top priority. I'm not a clean freak but was very disappointed by this motel. I am surprised that Motel 6 allows them to carry the logo.

It’s a no for us…
A little cleaning and routine maintenance go a long way…this place needs it and more! The rooms need some serious attention and cleaning! Honestly, the room was horrible and dirty. Sketchy area and people lurking. Banging on doors and screaming all night. Prices are low but you get what you pay for. Unfortunately, we had a horrible experience. We cancelled the 2nd night, got a refund, and just went home from our trip early. Personally, we were very uncomfortable.
