Excelente ubicación. El cuarto con vista al lago es muy bonito. En época de nieve es un lugar extraordinario.

Hotel cómodo , limpio y accesible
El lugar ,kingbeach fabuloso. Los medios de transporte regulares y a precios cómodos. No hay muchos lugares para hacer compras de alimentos y menos restaurante s.

Es muy caro para lo que ofrece !!!
Solamente porque esta junto al lago esta bonito, pero es muy caro para lo que se ofrece. Es un motel viejo no un resort !!! No dan ni tanto servicio de cordialidad, solo hacen minimo esfuerzo, hice preguntas via email y un tal miguel solorespondio a una de ellas. El servicio, de officina no es nada bueno, ya que no tienen la disposicion de ayudar a los turistas en este caso, no saben dar informacion sobre cosas basicas del pueblo, yo pregunte sobre bus para ir a northstar ... Y la señorita que atendio ni siquiera sabia donde pasaba bus y sus horarios! Este tipo de preguntas son basicas !!! Y su desayuno continental no es continental ... Hay solo pan cafe chocolate y cornflakes !!!!! Yo hoy soy hotelero y conosco las solicitudes de los viajeros hacemos preguntas sencillas las cuales deben ser contestadas facilmente, ya que estan relacionadas con su pueblito! Con actitud serian mejor la situacion, aun que no vale lo que cobran ! No hay caja fuerte !!! No safe box !!!

It was a real dump. The carpet looks like it could give you a terminal disease. The last remodel was in the fifties. I had the heating up to highest level and it was still cold.

A great place to stay with everything we needed and plenty of space in the room for a family of 4. Would defenetly like to comeback! Great communication through txt messeges.

We loved the Crown Motel! Staff were super friendly and helpful. Beds were normal sized queens with new comfortable mattresses. Rooms were relatively large with room for luggage, etc with new amenities and very clean. We had a kitchenette with partial view of the lake which was stunning. Hot tub was large, clean and so soothing with sweeping view of the lake, perfect for apres ski. Hotel is dog friendly but charges small fee. We were so happy to find such a clean, newly renovated, and excellently located hotel that also takes dogs. Close to Dave's ski shop, two coffee places, and Jason's restaurant. Lovely beach park outside the doors. Staff shared view rooms are first come first serve so book early!

This is a very nice motel located on the shore of Lake Tahoe. It is a short walk to the bus stop for the free shuttle to and from Northstar Ski Resort

Great location less than 15 min to Northstar, lots of food options, lakefront walk. Very friendly and helpful staff, appreciated extra towels and late check out when needed. Clean rooms with fridge and microwave, could use a rug shampooing (just bring slippers). Can hear neighbors thru the walls if they are loud but most guests are considerate. Parking can be tight. It's an older facility but is a great value. Would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay when visiting Northstar. Super clean room and amazing view of the Lake. I think it was midway through refurbishment as the room would have benefited from some coat hooks, pictures and maybe a full length mirror. I would certainly stay again 😀

We stayed in one of the renovated rooms and it was clean, comfortable and decently spacious. The location of this property is unbeatable - Very close to Northstar (10 mins drive), right on the lake beach and walking distance to lot of F&B options in Kings beach. The only bummer was the new 'smart' TV didnt seem to have live TV, and even the front-desk staff wasnt able to figure it out.

Staff member called and was rude on the phone after we checked out. Accused us of not checking out on time. I explained that we checked out in person and left hours ago. He insisted we left luggage in our room. We didn't. He called the wrong guests and was a prick.

My husband and I booked a Standard Room, King, for 2 nights. I choose Crown Motel for its proximity to T.A.R.T. Route Hwy 267, walkability to restaurants, close proximity to the Lake and reasonable price. We were not disappointed; we got all that we wanted. Noah, the Front Desk person who checked us in, was very nice, helpful and professional. Our room looked updated. It was comfortable, clean and showers was hot & the water pressure was strong. It was small, but we didn't stay there to stay in our room. It was so nice to be able to walk to the Lake from our room. The hot tub was hot with gorgeous views of the Lake! Go to the hot tub either early or late as it does get popular. Would like to stay here again!

We had a lakefront room and it was so nice to go to sleep with the sound of the water hitting the shore. The staff was super responsive and everything was done via text. I was also skeptical as I don't often stay in motels but it was a excellent location and the room was perfect for me, my husband and our daughter. And being walkable distance to a variety of restaurants made it very convenient.
