The place smelled like old smoke and mildew. I contacted the manager within 2 hours (gave it time for turning AC/fans on to help- they didn’t). I was told they would alert the local team. FOURTEEN HOURS later, I get a call that they can bring an air freshener or, if we can vacate the room for 4 hours, an ozone machine. Our schedule did not allow being gone so long at that point in the afternoon/evening, so I said please bring it by 9am tomorrow. It never appeared. We made do with Febreze and an open door. The floor had a residue. The space behind the Murphy bed was full of dirt. Mattresses were quite worn. No blanket for Murphy bed. All the pools and hot tubs (a major factor in choosing this place) were closed. With big signs on them saying they had been closed by order of the Health Department! Kitchen was adequately stocked and clean. Plenty of towels.
