This is a no-frills budget motel. It looks like the owners are trying to get it fixed up little by little which I like. Locally owned motels have a cool feel to them, and this one has that. The man who helped us last nite was super nice, and was very helpful. We needed a place to crash, and the motel served that purpose. Some little things that would make it even better—cleaner rooms, upgraded pillows (beds were fine), better towels, and making sure each room had all fixtures working. Upgraded soap and amenities would be a nice touch too. This motel has the bones and potential to be a cool place to stop for a nite or two!

We stayed here, due to it being independently owned & great value. It’s a old motel, however bed & pillows where great. Clean,quiet as well.

I haven't been to a hotel that has been so poorly taken care of in my life! There were patched up holes all over the room and some that were not patched up at all. The sink in the bathroom was cracked, the tub was painted in spots, the bar of lights in the bathroom and the back of the room only had one light bulb out of 4 in each. There was no outlet in the bathroom and no mirror other than in the bathroom, so it was difficult to do my hair. The flooring in the bathroom, tile, curtains, pictures on the wall were at least 40 years old. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

We ended up leaving and finding another hotel. You keep asking me to revise this review. I won't. This hotel should not be on you your site. It was so dirty, we couldn't stay and had to find another hotel.

first of all so sorry for inconvenience, you booked 1 king bed room but new employee showed you 2 queen bed ,it was pet friendly room ,anyway we gave you full amount of refund what we charged from expedia.once again so sorry

It shocks me that $75 would buy something this terrible. Outside our window was a 3-foot stack of trash and construction debris. The floors look like they haven't been swept in weeks. The comforter was so gross, we threw it on the floor; the blanket underneath looked blood-stained and had multiple cigarette burns in it, and the sheets were so suspect, we slept in sleeping bags on top of them. The guy who checked us in was very nice and gave us free cold waters, but otherwise, this stay was a terrible experience.

Needs some better care.
I would give this place a better rating, but the condition is so poor. Nothing that creates a problem, but just in poor looking condition (very poor patch jobs, paint peeling, curtains that are wore out, missing light bulbs, etc.) Other than that, it was a good stay, Beds are great, cooler worked fine, so we were comfortable.

The Safari was medium priced. The room was absolutely atrocious. Walls were filthy. Floors were filthy, light bulbs were missing, and the lights didn't work at all. The towels were grey and tatty. The fridge top was broken. The curtain to darken the room looked like it had been used for target practice. The ceiling had tiles that were torn up. The safety latch didn't work. UGH

By far the worst hotel we stayed in. We had a rough one night. Room was made up but awfully dirty. So much dust and grime. We had anxiety all through the night thinking there might be bed bugs. Luckily, none of us had bites the next morning. The shower didn’t work well. Water pressure was super low it took us a long time to finish showering. Worst is it also keeps losing the hot water so we had to wait until it gets back. The front desk staff was accommodating to all of our concerns even if it was already late at night. We would never consider staying in this hotel ever again. Don’t waste you money like we did.

Absolutely disgusting! Either the people leaving good reviews are getting a totally different room than the rest, or they're use to living in filth. This motel is the nastiest motel have ever seen didn't even want to sit in it. We literally ate dinner in our car because we couldn't stomach eating food that would be introduced into this room. I didn't even want to stomach using the restroom. There was no cold water whatsoever, & the hot would get scolding hot within seconds you could barely stand it long enough to scrub your hands, & it was way too hot for our children. The outlets did not work. Anything plugged in would fall out, & there were burn marks inside the outlets. The fridge was disgusting. The walls were absolutely disgusting with filth, mirrors, bathroom, everywhere in that room was covered in absolute filth. These rooms have not been cleaned in months possibly years. The toilet won't even flush half of the time. My children were literally in tears due to not wanting to be in that filth another second. Our key card never worked either. Had to get "management" to come unlock our door anytime that we needed back in because every key card they would give us wouldn't work to get back in. The outside of this motel is just as disgusting. Filth everywhere laying around, the pool looks just as nasty as this motel. There are holes everywhere in the curtains. The room reeks of old person, & cigarettes. Do not stay here ever unless you like sleeping, & breathing in filth

The price was low but I at least expected the room to be clean. The motel is old, but I like old places, I just expect them to be clean and in better repair. My room was in the oldest part of the motel. Upgrades had been made just not maintained.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Reeks of cigarette smoke, disgusting room, dirty room, used sheets, burn holes in sheets, grungy towels, room # on key card (super unsafe), broken, taped window, loud, TV didn't work, bugs crawling on the ground, only 1 light worked in whole room.

Bed was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean. There was a piece of candy stuck to the floor near the tv and after my husband walked barefoot in the room, he stepped on the bathmat and left dark dirty footprints. It took almost 5 minutes to get hot water. It was not hot, but warm enough to shower. The outlet where the coffee pot was did not work. Another outlet was not properly attached to the wall.

Definitely an older ran down hotel.. Not bad if your not expecting anything other than a basic room with a bed and bathroom. Super nice housekeeper whose very friendly and smiley! Guy at front desk could be more welcoming and friendly as he comes off harsh annoyed to the point and as if he don’t care to interact at all.. property is kinda dingy, rooms are musty and only half cleaned which makes just about everything questionable when your there… No pool as advertised. No vending machines of any sort and if there is ice for the container left in your room then I have no idea where’d it be or where you get it??

Hotels.com should remove this property.If I were younger I would have slept in the car.This place just needs to be demolished.I cannot believe it would pass a health inspection or a building one.To boot it was not that cheap.God Awful place.

It was filthy, the lights didnt work, rust in the tub , air conditioner was low to the floor and hardly worked. The staff was nice.
