The only good thing is the location of this hotel. It's a four stars hotel but the person at reception didn't even ask me my name or welcome me when we arrived, simply told me it wasn't time to check in (which I knew) and made it seem like a favour to leave our bags at the hotel until check in (a service I knew they provided but was not offered until I asked). Then basically we had no other conversations with the staff. Checked in online giving them information they should already have from the booking via expedia and even got a check out link!! So basically it's expensive and there's 0 service. The location is the only reason to stay at this hotel. Waking up with the sun and seeing the river was amazing.

Great location on the Quayside. Parking onsite & good price for city centre. Staff attentive & friendly. We had club room located on 5th floor. Views of the river. Great size room and very comfy bed. Very clean & eveything you need for some time away. Furniture a bit dated but other than that a lovely stay. Have stayed in a few hotels in Newcastle & this has been best for location & parking. Would visit again.

We enjoyed our Saturday night stay. The room was large and clean with a nice view of the river. Parking was really convenient (£10) and the breakfast was excellent. Only a 10-15 min walk to the utilita arena. This our go to hotel at Newcastle.

The room on arrival was very clean. Lovely views. The pillows not the comfiest. It was a bit dated in the bathroom however nice hot water for a bath and shower. The hairdryer did not work, which did cause us a problem. Good facilities, such as tea/coffee, with refrigerator. Tv is a good size and quality.

Staff lovely and breakfast was good, but various parts of the hotel looking tired. Waste bin in the room hadn't been emptied from the previous occupant. The bath was pathetic. After an early start, a long drive and a long day I was looking forward to bath to relax. The bath was so shallow that when I got in with the water level near to the overflow, I was only partly submerged. I'm 6ft 2 and 16st, so on the larger side, but never had a problem with a bath like this before. It was like trying to have a bath on a tray. I ended up having a shower instead rather than the "soak" I wanted...

Comfortable stay. Disappointing breakfast (as add on to our stay). No labelling of milk eg, whole, skimmed, yoghurt also not labelled and no option for fat free. No option for poached eggs or alternative hot breakfast to traditional full English. Underwhelming breakfast and labelling would benefit. I would stay again but room only.

Lovely clean room and as described Bathroom dated No hot water in the morning- waited 50 mins called reception- sent maintenance- told me to run a bath tap and hot water will come to sink. Shared it was a regular occurrence. On arrival told to park in multi story rather than disabled bay at front and use the lift- unacceptable approach to disabled guest with walking issues. Poor experience overall. On check out shared water issue with reception team and was told they would inform manager - offered we were happy to discuss but heard nothing.

Nice location next to the river with water views. Rooms a bit old in places but spacious with a comfortable bed and a refrigerator. Requires a walk uphill to reach the center and not sure if the area is 100 percent comfortable for women alone at night. Caters to an older crowd.

Hotel is in a great location at the end of Quayside and only a short walk to town centre. Rooms on first floor have a little balcony overlooking the river so that is pretty cool. Good bar / restaurant.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. A massive thanks to the ladies on reception for helping me with some printing and for providing me with ear plugs (the metro trains are noisy). The food in the restaurant was delicious and again the bar staff were always so helpful and attentive. Would definitely stay again!
