El personal está muy servicial. La habitación estaba amplia y todo muy limpio. La comida en el restaurante está buenísima. La ubicación está muy buena un poco fuera del pueblo y con acceso directo a la playa.

El sitio muy agradable, integrado con la naturaleza y la playa, con un front desk atento para guiarte de los servicios que hay en el lugar. Desayuno rico, café britt gratis en los pasillos. La habitación amplia e iluminada con todo lo necesario.

El hotel es bastante tranquilo, agradable. Creo que deberian tener un espacio para adultos y otro para familias, para evitar situaciones de incomodidad a los que viajan soloen adultos. Resto fue una estadia muy agradable.

Nos pareció una maravillosa opción, puesto que es un lugar sumamente tranquilo, el personal es muy amable y las instalaciones son muy cómodas; quizá la única observación es que su tarifa es un poco alta.

Fabuloso
Hemos pasado nuestros últimos cuatro días en Costa Rica en este precioso Hotel que se encuentra en primera linea de una playa estupenda. Las habitaciones muy confortables y grandes, se encuentran en casitas. Como no son muchas habitaciones, la atención es muy personalizada y la estancia se hace muy agradable. Hay diferentes animales (iguanas, aves, mapaches, ardillas) que viven en los jardines del Hotel y que se acercan prudentemente;también vimos un par de monos en los árboles. El restaurante muy bueno y con una atención fabulosa (tengo que dar las gracias a Juan Carlos por todas las cosas que nos contó sobre costa Rica y a Iván por sus fabulosos jugos). En la playa se puede practicar surf (en nuestro caso importante ya que ibamos con nuestros hijos de 16 y 11 años) y puedes alquilar las tablas en el mismo hotel. Nosotros hemos disfrutado muchisimo!!!

El lugar donde se ubica maravilloso, la atención estupenda, la limpieza y las instalaciones también. Súper recomendable para toda la familia, los tours que manejan de muchísima calidad.

We stayed at a few hotels in the area. This hotel was the best by far, especially because of the staff. The rooms are excellent also but the staff are amazing.

This is a beautiful hotel nestled in nature. The rooms were comfortable and classy. The service was friendly and helpful. Loved that this is locally owned and small in size. The breakfast included was perfect and delicious. Local fruits, fresh made eggs to order and local foods. Loved this hotel. Highly recommended.

Beautiful property with uncrowded grounds and beach. Convenient to center of Tamarindo but out of the fray. Great place to relax and enjoy the beach, the pool, wildlife and grounds and friendly staff.

We loved our stay here. Everyone was thoughtful and friendly. Our room was lovely with a beautiful balcony where we could observe the wildlife. The hotel is eco friendly and the location and access to beach was fantastic.

The place is very beautiful and the service is great. All the staff was very friendly and made us feel right at home. I want to give the special shut out to the manager Rosa who went an extra mile to offer us freshly cut aloe juice from their garden when she saw that we got sun burned on the beach (it works great when it’s fresh!). It’s also a great place for surfing lessons. The only minor improvement I would make is the quality of pillows in the rooms which weren’t the greatest. We would definitely choose this place again, it’s great for a family vacation.

Tamarindo was the first stop for my husband & I on our honeymoon to Costa Rica and we are SO glad we stayed at Capitán Suizo!! If you are looking for a quieter, more mellow and luxurious but still very convenient option, this is for you! This is the farthest resort along the busy beachfront strip in downtown Tamarindo closest to Langosta Beach so the beach directly outside is not as busy with people, surfers, and solicitors, but just walk a few minutes down the beach if you want that. It’s also only about a 5-10 minute walk to downtown where there are tons of shops, restaurants, bars, coffee shops & the food truck garden. We stayed in a superior king room with a beautiful balcony view and could hear the howler monkeys every morning, saw many iguanas and made friends with the resort’s on-site cats (they’re all so sweet!). We ate at the resort’s restaurants many times and it was delicious. Staff is very friendly & helpful, rooms are beautiful & clean, and lots of excursions available & easily accessible. We do not like to party hard so we enjoyed the peacefulness of this resort a lot.

Nice, quiet hotel on the beach
The rooms were clean, large and quiet. The free breakfast buffet had plenty of great options (you can also choose to order off a menu). The restaurant was one of the best restaurants in the area for lunch and dinner. The hotel rooms are a few feet from the beach. Free WIFI, body boards, board games, billiards and many other fun activities. The beach has an area just for guests with a security guard. The best part of the stay was the staff. They were very helpful and polite.

This hotel is a dream spot! Absolutely amazing in every possible way. Gorgeous room, gardens and other property. Easy access to beach and activities. Away from the busy town, but still close enough to be able to enjoy the downtown area. Feels like you are in nature, but in a clean and safe area. We loved it!

Great, quiet Hotel!
Our stay was great! The pool was beautiful, during the day could see monkeys and iguanas! We stayed in one of the bungalows, which were beautiful. The outdoor shower was great (don't leave your key inside though as the door locks automatically). The town was fun, close enough to walk to but gets loud and thumping at night. The hotel is perfect distance to it, if we stayed in a hotel closer to town, we would have been up all night with the dance music. This hotel was very quiet at night. The staff were nice, the servers and bartenders could be a little surly. There was one server who was fantastic but I can't remeber his name :(. The other guests were a little older, I would say the hotel is child tolerant, but nothing about the hotel is really geared toward children. It was quiet and relaxed and I appreciated that very much.
