Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts and lovely little touches like Easter eggs left with our towels when we got there. Room was spotless and breakfast perfect. Would definitely come again

Was a little concerned at first. We had just spent the previous night in something that looked similar and it was horrible.....however this place was just the opposite. It was clean and the owners were so nice. Enjoyed there company and advice of things to do in the area.

Nice but not big enough
Very welcoming and friendly. Only downside was the tiny attic room we was in as a double room! Very little space to be able to do anything on one side of the room without banging your head! Definately needs changing to a single room does room number 6.. lovely breakfast one of the best i've had :)

Stayed for one night as we were attending a nearby wedding. Friendly welcome. Room small but beautiful. Incredibly comfortable bed with choice of good quality pillows. Breakfast was lovely.

Nice stay in North Bay.
A lovely Yorkshire welcome for a Lancashire (Salford) lad. Very nice hosts, made me very welcome. Superb breakfast that kept you going all day long. Small single room was a little cramped for me but not bad for a short stay of 3 nights but slept well. No other issues at all! Thanks for the hospitality, would definitely stay again.

Top class guest house.
An impromptu overnight stay. Made to feel very welcome upon arrival. Standard and cleanliness of room could not be faulted. John the owner even recommended an Italian restaurant for a nice meal. Meal was superb. Lovely full English breakfast on the morning and also choice of fresh fruit and cereal. Very close to Peasholm Park and North Beach.

We enjoyed our stay at North Bay in Scarborough. The location is great , the hosts so friendly. We were pleased to be able to order what we wanted for breakfast and it was excellent. We enjoyed the opportunity to visit with other guests in the hosts' living room. We will certainly stay at North Bay when we return to Scarborough.

Two night trip to attend a wedding
Arriving Friday 15th August earlier than expected. We called to see if we could drop of our bags and were told the rooms were all ready so we could check in. The room we were allocated was lovely and clean and we were looked after brilliantly. The breakfast was superb, too many choices to list, but everything you can think of was on offer. A very friendly place to stay, comfortable and welcoming. We would definately stay again and would recommend the North Bay to friends.

Very friendly hosts and nothing was a problem to them.Breakfast was wonderful with plenty of choice from cereal, fresh fruits, yogurts, and toast and cooked breakfast. Room was clean and décor up to date. the room was a little cramped not a lot of space however bed comfy and would definitely go back to stay.

OMG The best Full English breakfast
Stayed here for one night on the 27th May (admittedly after leaving booking somewhere until quite late) We booked after reading the reviews and were so glad we did. Absolutely head and shoulders above your normal guest house and better than some hotels we've stayed in. We stayed in room 5 (twin beds/king size double). Lovely room, en suite shower was fab. Only downside on our part was room was on the top floor and the bed was very soft. On the plus side it was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. A selection of tea's cereals and fresh fruit to start and then one of the best Full English breakfast I've ever had. Proper bacon, beautiful sausages, real fried mushrooms and I just have to add that the fresh coffee was wonderful. Can't praise the North Bay Guest House enough. The next time I'm staying in Scarborough, this will definitely be the first place I try and book.

A lovely b&b, good location
We stayed in a family room at North Bay and it was an excellent size for the 3 of us. Exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was very filling and there was loads of choice. Owners were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect hosts couldn't have been more friendly
We were attending a wedding locally and travelling a distance, we were able to check in and get ready earlier than planned and shown to a lovely modern room with lovely homely touches (biscuit tin;-)) our experience was home from home very comfortable and a more than generous breakfast with lots of options and friendly owners - highly recommend!!!

Very satisfied cannot express my views on this B&B and its owners. Outstanding is an indication of the service, the welcome and the accommodation. I will certainly return as the accommodation is superb and the breakfast is incredible. Fantastic value.

Fantastic service in a great location
Upon arrival a friendly reception was received from John and Gill,The Hotel is situated central to all amenities.The rooms where both clean and bright and the linen was spotlessly clean.Breakfasts were provided freshly cooked and delicious.The overall feeling was of a family home with great care taken to make you feel welcome.I cannot recommend this Hotel more strongly.A credit to the owners.

Lovely stay
I stayed here for 1 night due to work commitments and I was made to feel extremely welcome. I would have liked a toilet and shower facility in the room (did not realise that ensuite meant only a wash basin) but for the price I cannot really complain! The breakfast was really tasty and the owners are willing to go out of their way to make your stay comfortable.

Enjoyed a lovely short break with a friend, booked after seeing excellent reviews. weather was perfect, walked from The North Bay along the coast road to the South Bay. A long walk but stopped for coffee along the way.

Really nice hotel and perfect hosts
This is a well positioned hotel within 5 minute walk to Peasholm Park. The rooms were very bright and airy and to a high standard of cleanliness and the hosts were very nice and chatty. The breakfast was just gorgeous with plenty of choice and the best thing is that they dont have set times, its whatever time you get up! :) All in all I would recommend to anybody and would definately stay there again

A delightful experience
I spent one night in June 2013 in a single room at the North Bay Hotel and found everything delightful. Great value for money, charming, helpful hosts, spotless little room, comfy bed and large flat screen TV. The location was superb, away from the hustle & bustle of the south bay - perfect for an early morning stroll via Peasholm Park to watch the sun rise over a deserted beach. And the breakfast - well, it was quite amazing! I particularly appreciated the several bowls of freshly prepared fruits; strawberries & kiwi fruits, raspberries, blackcurrants & more. The huge plate of perfectly cooked & presented sausage/bacon etc. was an extra bonus. I shall certainly return here the next time I visit Scarborough.
