Hi July, We are disappointed to see that your stay did not go as well as it should have. The property is an historic building and all of our rooms are different sizes because they are as they were originally designed. We do offer daily housekeeping service, however, sheets are not changed daily. We offer sheet changes every 2-3 days or upon guest(s) request, which is standard practice for most hotels. Thank you for staying with us.

Me encanto que tiene el estilo clasico de las construcciones del lugar, con galerias y balcones. No tiene servicios como gimnasio, pero hay un parque cerca donde se puede hacer ejercicio. Las habitaciones son un poco reducidas, pero hay sillas y mesas afuera de las habitaciones.

La verdad que fueron dos noches geniales en este hotel. Calidas atenciones de los empleados, muy bien situado, en el mismo corazom de Friends quarter. Podrían mejorar el tema de incluir el desayuno. Habitación muy comoda.

There was no lobby, no front desk, no house phone in the room. The thermostats were not adjustable in the rooms so its was warm. Housekeeping only comes every 3 days, the staff does provide extras of things when requested. The issue is you run out of coffe right away and the garbage stacks up. Staff are behind a locked door you can onlyaccess from the street which does make one question their own safety.

No real coffee offered in this hotel. Room was never serviced once in the two days I was there. Stairs to rooms were unsafe to climb. Stairs had no Lighting. Hotel designed to be a self service property.

We do offer community coffee k cups in each room during your stay. We do state that rooms are only serviced every 3 days of your stay but front desk is more than happy to provide anything extra you may need.

We have recently renovated this property and have not been able to photograph the new look. All the furniture, linens, bedding, and amenities are brand new. We do apologize if our new look was not to your liking.

We parked about two blocks away in an open parking lot. There are signs all over the parking lot that will tell you how to pay. It’s a quick walk to the hotel from there. There are no security people around the lot but there are plenty of cameras. I wasn’t worried about my car. the property is awesome, looking forward to staying here again the next time I come.

As others have said, our room did not look like the room in the picture. Much more of a small inn with bare walls.

As we’ve stated before, this property is weeks out of being renovated and have not had a chance to photograph the new style of the rooms. Everything is brand new including furniture, linens, and bedding.

Being a first-time guest of New Orleans, I was a little skeptical of the area when we arrived after 10:30 p.m. The front desk gentleman was very helpful and kind. He helped us in any way we needed and made me feel more comfortable with the area. This property is in the middle of the French Quarter. So, if you are very conservative and traveling with small children, you may want to find something a little different. However, we did not have any issues other than loud partyers at 2 am waking me up with loud noises on the street. But the kids slept through it fine. The room was clean and plenty big enough for our family of 6. The bathroom was very clean and updated with toiletries provided. Overall, this was a good stay!

Overall we had a good stay and will likely return. The property is super cute and close to everything. The actual room was a bit small and had some issues like a running toilet, beeping smoke detector and leaking sink. One of the window panes was boarded up. Our biggest issue was not being able to use the heat, it seemed like it was cut off for use overnight which was when it was the coldest.

This place is located in the heart of all the Mari Gras action! My family and I enjoyed Bourbon St. a couple of blocks down, we walked to Cafe Dumont, and Harrahs! There are plenty of food options near and lovely shops. We would definitely stay here again!

I booked, I was charged, i received confirmation number and everything. The day before my travel i called several times to confirm booking, necer received and answer. Whe i got there at nights the place was completely closed, no lights, no doorbell, not even a closed sign on the property. I started calling the property and no answer, it was freezing outside and i didnt know what to do withy elder parents waiting outside the inn. The place was on renovations, i never received any kind of notification abou it, i booked it 3 weeks before going, it was not months before. The website didnt mentioned anything, i never recirved an email, nor call, nothing. I was never informed about this and anyways the hotel charged me for 3 nughts and four days that I wasn't able to use. I ended up losing my booking and having to book another hotel after midnight so my family wouldnt freeze in the street. I wanted to have a nice opinion about the inn, since i was excited on previous reviews, but it was a nigtmare.

This is certainly a huge error on our behalf. We are very sorry and disappointed that this has happened to you. We have approved a full refund of your stay, without penalty. If you plan another trip to New Orleans in the future, we truly hope that you will keep us in mind so that we have an opportunity to make it up to you. This is certainly not how we do business, and we will do everything that we can to rectify this situation.

I’ll start with I forgot my wallet in the Uber. The man let me check in without it thankfully. I think he already knew I was in a panicked state. A gentleman carried all of our luggage up to our room. We asked for extra towels, and were brought an abundance of them for all 6 of us. We stayed at the LaMothe House. And we loved it. The ambiance of the place is just perfect. Between the pool, the fountain, and the overall look of the garden was beautiful as well. Check out was super simple also. We will definitely rent from them again.

Quaint hotel near French Quarter

Closed for Renovations! Confirm your reservation!
We actually arrived at the Inn on St Peter to find out it was closed for renovations. The hotel staff was there and were able to inform me that they had changed my reservation to their sister property Lamothe Hotel near Frenchman St. Although we were disappointed that the Hotels.com app had not reflected this change, and did not want to be in a different neighborhood, we did enjoy our stay at Lamothe. Hotels.com did send me an email back a few weeks ago but I had not noticed it.

Ms Carol and Claude were wonderful in assisting us during check-in and during our 4 day stay. The hotel is quaint however, it is in need of some repairs. The hotel will be closing for the next 3 months for some much needed renovations. After the completion of the renovations would my husband and I stay here again...the answer is definitely.

We loved how it was so close to bourbon st. And shopping as well as a lot of options for food. The hotel staff was very friendly and helped us when our air conditioning wasn’t working properly. I believe that the cleanliness could have been better.
