The best service I've ever received has been at the Best Western Newberg Inn. I look forward to my stays at. Staff is always a pleasure to speak with. They're kind, knowledgeable, patient, helpful, presentable, & sincere to highlight just a few of their qualities. They are easy going in a way that's friendly while maintaining a professional tone. They all seem to take pride in the work they do, whether that be housekeeping or serving breakfast. I have recommended this location to others countless times & will continue to do so.
One stand-out employee is Kayla Kerr, one of the front desk managers. And I do not mean that she stands out in comparison to staff at the Best Western Newberg Inn. I'm saying that she exceeds expectations when compared to every single employee I've ever encountered in the hospitality industry globally & I don't suspect that this will ever change. I would consider her to be the gold standard. She is kind, helpful, personable, knowledgeable, she clearly is able to anticipate the needs of guests to ensure their stay is a pleasant & comfortable one that is as close to home as you can get. She has that rare combination of both intellectual and emotional intelligence that I don't believe can be taught to a person but rather is gifted to them either by some kind of genetic trait or perhaps something of a more divine nature depending on one's belief structure. If I was to say she is something of a unicorn, this would be a great compliment to unicorns.
