I am so sorry. What you described it now what is usually experienced here. That sounds awful. I appreciate that you gave us a try and shared your experience so that I can look into it. The only thing that sounds familiar and correct is the location up on a hill. My staff are usually very pampering and attentive so I feel terrible that was not your experience. This is indeed an old building furnished with antiques and things to break from time to time but my linens are imported and luxury linens so again I will see if I can find out more from my staff. I am so sorry you felt ripped off!

That is a popular room and we have not had complaints about the bed before so I regret that you had that experience. The venue is pricey due to the high overhead caring for all the antiques, the high end linens we provide and more; the beautiful takes more than dusting to be so, but I understand the price tag is high. I've been so trained by my mother, who created the Hacienda San Angel, that dogs could never do wrong that I've adapted to it. Mom never had less than 8 yapping dogs following her around here when she was with us. I do appreciate knowing how you were impacted and I will address possible solutions with Chloe's mom. Yes the hotel is furnished in antiques throughout as the Hacienda is the result of one of my mother's two loves, shopping for antiques; the other love was dogs which is why we are also a dog friendly venue. Thank you for giving us a try and for sharing your feedback. I'm sorry that we were not a pleasant experience for you. I always hope every guest will be "wowed" by their visit with us and I am so sorry you did not enjoy peace and comfort while here; you certainly should have had that. Thankfully yours was not the normal experience here. It is true we are up on a hill as advertised and not on the beach. We are normally a quiet and serene place to be. Just to clarify for readers, there was no construction but the air conditioner in the room below needed replacing and took all of four hours unfortunately. I wish I could predict when these things would break but I cannot. We do have every air conditioner serviced every year to minimize these occurrences but they cannot be completely avoided much to everyone's regret. Also, the a/c in your room would likely keep up with the heat if on the higher setting and I'm sorry we did not know you were struggling as we would have assisted you. Mariachis in the restaurant at night are usually enjoyed but I totally understand if it was not by you. I don't expect we will see you again as is appropriate but I do wish you better experiences and smooth travels in the future.
