Good location, nice place. Room facing backyard was a bit disappointing. I asked if there was possibility to nicer view. Only way was to make un upgrade but instead of being complementary (as I usually get with Expedia Gold when available) I was asked to pay extra 40€ for next room category.

Increíble y bien ubicado
Sin duda el mejor hotel de Reykjavík. Eso si un poco caro pero así es la cuidas en general. Servicio de primera. Llegamos a las 4am y nos dieron el cuarto sin esperar nada. Súper céntrico. El único detalle es que todos los autobuses turísticos no pueden parar enfrente del lobby y hay q caminar una cuadra.

Excelente ubicación en el centro de la ciudad.
Excelente ubicación con áreas verdes enfrente. El personal es muy accesible y dispuesto a resolver cualquier problema, por ejemplo, Flybus no pasó por mí a la hora acordada, y ellos me llevaron a la estación de Flybus. Las habitaciones son chicas pero muy cómodas.

GREAT HELPFUL PEOPLE WORKING AT THE HOTEL
IT WAS A GREAT HOTEL, NEAR EVERYTHING WALKING DISTANCE. THEY HELPED US MAKING RESERVATIONS FOR THE TOURS, ALWAYS READY TO HELP, REALLY NICE EMPLOYEES, GREAT CLEAN HOTEL, I STAYED IN THE NEW BUILDING, DID NOT LIKE THE OTHER ROOMS. THE ONLY COMPLAINT WILL BE THAT THERE WAS A LOT OF NOISE ON FRIDAY NIGHT, WE COULD NOT SLEEP TILL 2 AM, TERRIBLE. THE MOVE US TO ANOTHER ROOM THE NEXT DAY, IT WAS SMALLER BUT WITH NO NOISE. THERE WAS NO RESTAURANT BECAUSE OF RENOVATIONS, THAT WAS BAD. WE COULD NOT ORDER ROOM SERVICE BECAUSE OF THIS. THE BREAKFAST HAD VERY FEW OPTIONS. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS PERFECT. THANKS TO ALL THE PEOPLE WORKING THERE, THE BEST ATTENTION EVER, CONGRATULATIONS TO ELIZABETH, SHE IS FROM MEXICO AND WAS VERY NICE AND HELPFUL.

This hotel is conveniently located on a square right next to shopping, restaurants And a couple of bus stops for excursions. The hotel was clean, staff friendly and helpful, beds comfortable. Highly recommend!

I love the ambience of this hotel, the oldest in the city. It has a very Art Deco appeal which I love. The cocktails at the bar were yummy and the young man who creates these concoctions is enthusiastic and studied in his art. The front desk workers were cordial and very helpful. I loved my room, comfortable and cozy. Finally, I had a massage at the spa and it was perfect. I will return.

Wir hatten eine sehr angenehme und komfortable Nacht im Hotel Borg. Die Lage ist ideal wenn man fussläufig Reykjavík erkunden möchte. Kostenpflichtige Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es ebenfalls in fussläufiger Entfernung. Das Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel eingerichtet. Das Personal extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat uns ebenfalls zufrieden gestellt. Wir würden es definitiv empfehlen und auch wieder kommen.

The staff was very helpful. The hotel is close to everything, from the town to the bus stops. Great breakfast in the morning. I used the gym, equipment worked and was clean. The spa was small but it had what I needed-hot tub. Steam and sauna. The room was amazing. Beautiful art deco decor and the shower was spacious. I highly recommend

This hotel is in a great location to get around to the bus stop for excursions and also to just walk around downtown in. The room was clean and super comfortable ! The staff was so nice as well. The only thing that I would make a comment about is how expensive the buffet breakfast is, so I would recommend eating elsewhere! But otherwise this was a great hotel and I recommend staying here! I will be staying here again if I visit again

Great hotel. Centrally located in Reykjavík. Rooms were fine and clean. Minimal towels but not a huge issue. You need to request cleaning as this will not be done daily. Drinks are pricey but worth it. Breakfast was nice. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Borg

Outstanding Service & Location in top notch hotel
Perfect location within walking distance to nearly everything In Reykjavik. The staff were more than helpful before and during our stay, lining us up with the best transportation to and from the airport and good ideas for our too short stay in their charming city.

Front desk staff w1s incredible! Very knowledgeable, accommodating, friendly, helpful. The room was beautiful. Food in the restaurant was delicious. And the hotel was close enough to the bus stop that it was easy to make all my tour meetings.

Hotel Borg is in a great location with easy walking distance to the main city shops and restaurants. The amenities in the hotel were good quality and the rooms were quiet and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful hotel. Room was very clean. The hotel is in a busy area and it was very noisy late into the evening on Friday and Saturday nights. Loud music played all night. Thank goodness for ear plugs. The bar was very nice. Had a few great drinks there.
