Excellent Value for Money next to Riverwalk
Excellent for a "value for money" experience near Riverwalk (7 minute walk). The hotel is very comfotable and on a good location for car/walk access Downtown. The hotel was great for me and my wife but I would recommend Management to look into placing a bath courtain, look at a little bit more maintenance and review the hot water flow since one of the three nights hot water was an issue (maybe because a couple of minutes before I filled in the in-room jacuzzi which is definitively a PLUS!) I strongly recommend this place if you are limited in your budget and want a close to Downtown experience with quick access to the. I10, I35 and 281 freeways.

Smelled like mold and cigarettes even though it's a no-smoking property. They need to deep clean the place.. the receptionist blamed it on the humidity. The road noise from the neighborhood was terrible, I literally though there was a car race going on next door at the stadium but it was just people driving crazy on the road next to the hotel.

Lobby and elevators constantly smell like curry... not good especially in the morning. The towels are completely unacceptable! Hard and tough, practically scrape your skin off. Yuck.

The location is great! You can walk to the RiverWalk and Alamo in 15-20 minutes or less. The hotel manager is very nice. I didn't have any problem finding parking. Overall, this place offers an excellent value.

First of all..... The train was very loud and annoying.... Front desk person was very rude and disrespectful, the parking lot was dirty, room's door didn't lock.... Very unsafe. When I mentioned to the same person that checked me into to the room.... He acted surprised and said that I needed to leave the premise.... The house keeper also was rude and asking me I need to extend my stay if I won't leave.... I still had 5 minutes until 11am for check out time.... Never again.....

This property is not safe because there are no door locks. I had a grown man enter my room at 2 o’clock in the morning. I was half awake and could not go back to sleep. I checked out that morning!

It’s a clean property but in a few places on the wall there are stains. It’s a bit of a walk to the riverwalk but not terrible. I knew this when I booked it. Overall a good property with excellent customer service.

Driving up I was nervous by the looks outside. I was pleasantly surprised by a few things. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and I felt safe as I was on upper floor and the door to get inside the lobby was locked up at night. The hotel is small but it is very close to Alamodome and the riverwalk.

The room smelled of heavy deodorizer to mask some other odor. I am allergic to many odors especially if they are strong. The mini fridge was frozen up so would not keep anything cold. The night stands looked like they hadn’t been dusted in a month.

When I arrived, all the doors were locked and no one was at the check out counter. I stood there for 15 minutes on the street with my suitcase. I called and got no answer. It was 6 pm. I ended up staying with a friend somewhere else and losing my money. When i called back a few days later to check and see if my reservation was still standing, the receotionist was rude and hung up on me.
