This is a solid place to stay if you are looking for a bargain. The staff is nice. It is quiet. The continental breakfast is very simple. The room is clean and simple. The main issue would be the mattress. I love firm but the bed i had was like sleeping on a kitchen table. I can't imagine anybody being comfortable on that bed. Hopefully ownership sees enough of these posts and puts a little money into the beds.

The property is clean and airy and we were pleasantly surprised. It is cleaner than most hotels in this range. The rooms are decently sized and everything works. There is basic coffee provided in the room which is nice. Breakfast is supposed to be included, but the dining room was locked and there was no one around when we left at 6:30AM. We arrived early and were told gruffly ' We don't do early check-ins'. We went away and came back at 3:00. There was a different person at the front desk who was absolutely sweet and made up for the rudeness of the first person.

Very easy to access and a short drive to the beaches and downtown of Half Moon Bay. The hotel staff changed our rooms for my elderly Mom saving her a climb and walk upstairs. There are no elevators. That was greatly appreciated. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Very nice and comfortable
We enjoyed our two nights’ stay at the Miramar Inn and Suites. Even though it was right next to highway 1, we couldn’t really hear the noise from the traffic. The king bed was comfortable even if a bit too firm to our liking. The shower head was fantastic as it had excellent pressure…a rarity in most hotels these days. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious equipped with a microwave and a mini fridge as well as a comfortable leather couch! The tv was a bit small (perhaps 32” or so) but was very clear and had plenty of channels. The continental breakfast was basic for a quick grab-n-go only as they served packaged danish, yoghurt, cereal, oatmeal, milk, and some juices. We would definitely consider staying here the next time we are going to be in the area.

Out dated Miramar Inn & Suites
Our room was very dated and smelled when we entered. However, the bed was comfortable, sitting chairs had a deep whole when I sat in one. Needs to be replaced. Out the window, we were greeted by the neighbors dog barking. I might stay again, but would request a different room. Overall, you get what you pay for!

We stayed here our last night before heading to the airport to fly home. Liked the hotel. Walked to the beach and stopped by The Barn for diner while walking back. Nice large room with quality bed
