Lovely Villa. Pool was gorgeous. Private dock and beach. Away from the busyness of San Pedro but close enough to dining and grocery with golf carts to rent if you want to explore more of San Pedro. Gorgeous view out our window. Very happy we chose to stay here. Excellent staff also.

We had a wonderful time at Xanadu Island Resort. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Highly recommend staying here!

Xanadu Island Resort sets themselves apart with top notch customer service and cleanliness at the resort. We were welcomed from the minute we got there until we left. They arrange every detail for you so you have an amazing experience. The golf cart rentals are significantly cheaper going thru the resort to rent. They also booked several excursions and arrange transportation for activities, as well as taxis to and from the airport when you arrive and leave. Grocery stores are a few minutes walk. We got a 2 bed/bath with kitchen and made breakfast in our villa. We will definitely return in the future!

The grounds gave you the feel of being in the Caribbean. It was a very calm and relaxing resort. The suites were very roomy and had everything you needed. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to returning again.

Rent a gold cart to get around the island. That was part of the fun of this location. Quiet and secluded in the midst of busy local culture San Pedro.

Xanadu’s motto is a bit of luxury in harmony with nature [paraphrasing]. This is absolutely true. The resort is so well kept & the suites have everything you’ll need for a stay! I was so happy when they told me they’d have a pack n play ready in the room so we wouldn’t need to bring one from home for our baby! The process for renting bikes, kayaks, etc is effortless and the front desk is very helpful in booking activities and providing recommendations. Oh! And the pool. And the hot tub! And the beautiful string lights wrapped around festive palm trees. And a great bar! You’ll never want to leave.

We loved staying at Xanadu! We loved our 2 floor, 2 BR apt with a hammock on our patio. We especially loved the fact that the upstairs (where the bedrooms are) was actually colder than the rest of the apartment - great for sleeping. There is a great bakery and a couple of small grocery stores within short walking distance but you should rent a golf cart for dining out. There were 2 restaurants we found that offer transportation for dinner (Victoria House and Hidden Treasure). Both were good. The beach is not a real beach (which did not bother us at all). The sand is just a light covering over a cement pad. It made it easy to walk on and it was meticulously raked every day so it looked great. We enjoyed the pool area and pool bar. Everything was great, and the staff was helpful in booking excursions and dinner reservations. The grounds were well-kept as well.

This is a property I would visit again - it was like a secret in the middle of town. We felt a world away when we were on the property but 5 minutes from everything. Everyone who works there is so friendly and helpful and the place is immaculate

Amazing service, beautiful scenery and environment. Just felt like I was in paradise the entire time. The staff were incredibly nice. The pool/jacuzzi were open 24/7. It was fun having access to the amenities even at night. The suite provided lots of space and was very nice. Couldn't say enough about the pleasant experience we all had. Would absolutely visit again!

Great beachfront property
Xanadu was a great resort. They made check in very easy and offered us a shuttle from the airport upon arrival and departure. They have a nice pool and hot tub and a bar outside by the pool. The property was nice and had a beachfront view but just know there is no swimming from the beach. It is very close to town and they helped us get a golf cart for use in town. The staff was very friendly and they offered daily housekeeping. Rooms were very nice and stocked with kitchen utensils and supplies. Coffee maker in the room was a nice touch! Full size refrigerator and microwave makes it convenient for cooking if you wish. Overall a great stay and I would definitely stay again.

The entire staff was welcoming, professional and knowledgeable. They happily arranged transportation, restaurant reservations, excursions and answered any and all questions we had. A bonus was the resort's community connections. We always felt like we were with professionals and we had a unique, personalized and all together wonderful experience.. The grounds are beautifully maintained and Orlando (the ground keeper) was full of knowledge about the surroundings. We really appreciated the staff's commitment to making sure our stay was 5 star.

Great service! Amazing greeting upon arrival and easy communication with the reception staff even before arrival. Only thing to bare in mind is that there is no walk-out beach and a pier is offered instead.

Excellent location in San Pedro, very accommodating staff that set us up with the ATM cave tour and a snorkel trip To Mexico rocks. Very nice Rooms and a great beach and dock to relax around.

The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious. It was nice to have a kitchen. We loved how quiet it was, yet, easy walking distance to activities at the center of town. Taxi, and golf carts for rent, were available when we didn't feel like walking. The staff was helpful. The pool was nice. We didn't have any issue with sargasso odor, and it didn't prohibit us from swimming in the sea.

Very shady pool and well-maintained grounds. Rooms are starting to get a little dated & worn, and decor is a little confusing (Greek statues) but clean. Staff is great, warm, hard-working and responsive (especially Melanie, Winston & Orlando). Good location a little south of town so not as noisy. Close to a market and The Baker for lunch/breakfast. Great carts on site.

Xanadu island resort is a little slice of heaven! From the warm welcome, excellent bartender, amazing pool and beach front, Xanadu offers you a sactuary away from all the hustle and bustle as it is so private and beautifully maintained. We had a two bedroom villa that was lovely, quiet and had an ocean view. As there is a fullly equiped kitchen, we decided to have breakfast and make a picnic lunch and out for dinner around the island. Staff are terrific and the owner is hands on ensuring the grouds are maintained and happy to speak with guests and provide advise on excursions. A fantastic vacation in paradise!!

The staff made our trip more enjoyable. They helped to arrange everything we wanted to do. We enjoyed the friendly feel of the resort while still offering privacy. It was full but we felt like we had the place to ourselves. We got to know the staff from the office to the bell hop and the bar staff. They were fabulous. Best mojitos!!! Thank you Winston! We will be back for sure.

Exactly what me and my friends were looking for in San Pedro. Xanadu is a great place to stay with both friends and family. The suites are very well kept and safety was never a concern. Would highly recommend.

Family owned hotel in a beautiful garden setting
A wonderful stay for our family of 4 in a two bedroom apartment. Upstairs the bedrooms and a full bath with shampoo, etc., and hairdryer, and downstairs a full living room and kitchen (with enough coffee to get us started :)). Two supermarkets and two restaurants right nearby and a bunch are about a 15-20 minute down the road. Nice to be out of San Pedro itself, which was crazy busy. Staff here was wonderful and helpful, and owners Peter and Michelle are kind, interesting, and really hands on. We booked snorkelling tours directly via the hotel (Selvin was our amazing guide) and were picked up right at the pier. Could not have been easier. A pleasant getaway from the craziness of the town. The bar closes early but again there are places nearby - and it's nice not to have bar noise if you want to go to bed early for a 9am snorkelling pickup!

We had the best stay! Amazing experience! We have traveled all over the world and I’d have to say this has been one of the best places we’ve stayed. The monolithic dome structure is super cool and sturdyiest structure - stay in one! It’s cool! My son had his own bedroom here and we had a bedroom. Nice full size kitchen and 2 bathrooms. This resort really tailored our needs. Get a golf cart for the week and book a couple of snorkel excursions with a local guy named Alex ( the front desk can help you). We will be back for sure!!

Nice Place to Stay
Our Xanadu experience was excellent. The staff was exceptionally kind and professional. Our ground floor 2 bedroom unit was perfect for 2 couples. Each room was identical with beautiful bathrooms. The only complaint I have was that it was a good distance from downtown San Pedro.

Nice resort for a relaxing getaway
The Xanadu resort in Belize is amazing. The staff were incredibly helpful and if you have any questions about activities, food or general information they were friendly and incredibly informative. The resort is quiet and very relaxed. The rooms were very nice and comfortable for a family of 4. I highly recommend this hotel/resort.

Peaceful place, lovely staff
Wonderful facility with a welcoming and attentive staff. Quiet and relaxing ambience with a nice pool and hot tub and quick access to the beach. Bike and golf cart rentals are complimentary.
