No heat on in room. Took 4 hrs heat up. Bed was hard. Pillows were paper thin. No vending machines for stacks.

Service was non-existent. The coffee bar had only instant coffee available and expired coffee creamer, clumpy expired creamer. The room was clean.

We love the Shakespeare Inn!
A sweet inn & very quiet hotel just minutes outside Stratford! Owners/Operators a lovely family! Very accommodating for all our needs. There is no food service on-site, but our room had a fridge so we could store purchased food/leftovers from meals eaten out. Hotel is also a short walk to a local variety store, and a shop called the British Touch which also sells a variety of shelf stable foods. Not to far a drive is also a local ice cream shop selling over 25 flavours of ice cream.

The owner was very courteous and quick to answer our questions. The room was very clean and comfortable. It had a fridge and there was a microwave to use just down the hall. The hotel is located in a quiet and lovely rural area.The only negative was that the bathroom is noisy, the fan was very loud and the light fixture buzzed. I just kept it off as much as possible. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay and would stay here again if in the area.

Simple but immaculate property close to Stratford. Nothing in the immediate area for restaurants orbother attractions but Stratford 10 minutes away

It was a clean ,quiet, and good service. Perfect distance to Stratford for shops and theater/plays. Would recomend it as an affordible place to stay.

Comfortable and clean family owned business. Shakespeare is a quiet place and no restaurants were open during our stay. There is a really good ice cream parlor a block away from the hotel that was popular with the locals. A quick drive into Stratford.

Check in was easy , very accommodating they had me booked on the second floor but due to mobility issues I cant do stairs, so they found a room on the first floor for us. The inn was clean. Our room was small, but it served its purpose , it had a decent bed, a fridge, tv and a bathroom. Coffee and cookies were available 24/7 ,with use of a microwave if needed.

Staying at the inn made me sad. I cannot return. The laminate flooring in my room was beginning to peel, the shower curtain had yellow water stains, the towels were thin and were changed once in three days, only at my request, the walls are thin and I could hear guests next door, and there is no restaurant inside or nearby. I was visiting the Stratford Festival but it was a 15 mile drive away.

Clean room. Key entry with a basic lock. No deadbolt or chain, which I didn't like. Our room was changed after booking due to availability which is weird because we booked well in advance. Morning coffee is offered but not to go and they don't have an area to sit and enjoy it, so you have to bring it up to the room (and they insist you bring the cup back down after). Decent place to sleep, but there isn't much more to it. Property is clean but could use some updating and a bit of maintenance.

Clean and friendly! Older property with wear but very clean and tidy. Excellent coffee in the morning and tea is available throughout the day. Quick drive into Stratford to the theaters. Would definitely stay again.

- $169/night on a Thursday - tv has one channel (not a good one) - most basic amenities - felt like sleeping in an office - very small bathroom - dirty bedding (slept on covers) - almost no other guests and we were all put together (very thin walls)

Very clean and comfortable, staff was very helpful and friendly. A little way out of Stratford but not that far and easy to get to town. No USB outlets so bring adapters; no elevator. Otherwise very nice.

I found the staff very nice and accommodating. The room was clean and service was good. However, the locked front door upon arrival did not give the best first impression and the hotel was dated and the gazebo in the back yard was in poor condition. This hotel has so much potential due to it's close proximity to Stratford and the surrounding population base.

I was very pleasantly surprised, how incredibly clean, neat, and obviously refurbished this hotel was. Because of its overall ratings I only took it as a last resort at the last minute, as a place to stay to see plays in Stratford. It was about 10 minutes away and 1/3 the cost of hotels closer to the theaters. There is a glitch with the GPS, and it was a little hard to find. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
