They should pay more attention in the cleaning
They didnt clean the room any day. The bathroom was very dirty with black stains in the shower and we had to wear flip-flops. There were some wall paper tore in some spots. And they cheated us with the Spa anounced in the web. They don't have it

Buen hotel
El hotel es muy agradable , cómodo y silenciosas las habitaciones. La limpieza buena y los servicios que presta la habitación muy buenos . Buen desayuno , aunque deberían mejorar la amabilidad del personal del restaurante que pueden ser muy groseros algunos de ellos . La atención del personal de recepción correcta aunque les falta simpatía .

Hotel is a bit off the main streets however in fairly close walk to main pedestrian area. Comfortable bed and room was quite specious. Breakfast OK. Good value for money.

Best Western Lozenetz Hotel report
I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and the room NEVER cleaned up despite our daily request to reception guys. Breakfast was not so good, especially the fried eggs. I believe that Best Western should take care of this matter and especially for the cleaning of the rooms, because I heard similar complaint from other visitors too.

Not Recommended
2nd time in Sofia with my wife 2nd time in BW Lozenets.. The first time 2019 (pre Covid) was great which is why we came this time. Unlike the first time, room wasn’t clean. On the 2nd day when asking why the cleaning lady didn’t make our bed, changed towels and brought toilet paper, we were told that it’s being done every 2 days (why wasn’t I told this when making the reservation?!) and if we want them to change towels we need to ask in the morning to do so. In the 4 nights we’ve stayed there, not once we’ve had a cleaning lady and each night we’ve asked for towels and toilet paper though each morning we’ve asked them to clean the room. Only at night when we’ve return from the center we went to the reception and waited for them to get us towels and toilet paper. I don’t see myself as spoiled but this is too much. I payed +/- $250 to get service which I haven’t got and this is basic request. I won’t return here because having fresh towels and toilet paper is a necessary thing to have and I don’t need to go to reception and ask on a daily basis to have it. End of story, NOT RECOMMENDED!

Not a warm welcome
I arrived in the middle of the night as my flight was delayed. Instead of the man at reception being empathetic or at least welcoming, he was very stern and insisted on me checking out exactly on time in the morning. Hotel is on the older side but I don't mind.

Just an overnight stay in Sofia. Room was clean and with enough space for 2 people. The necessary basics were all provided - towels, soap, kettle, etc. Breakfast was decent. Overall would recommend if you look for a place to sleep.

Not up to Best Western standards
Here's a list of what I didn't like: 3 of the 4 lights did not work in the room. The staff needed 24 hours to find bulbs. One light stopped working again the following day. One towel had a huge hole in the middle plus some stains. I stayed 3 nights, with room service only once. Even then, my bed was not made. The shower tube was falling apart and the shower wall was leaking, resulting on water running everywhere in the bathroom.

The room wasn’t clean.There were dust and spider webs everywhere. The bed was comfy and the bed essentials were good. The hotel overall wasn’t well maintained but it was just ok for a overnight stay after a long flight.

Best Western? More like Worst Western...
The place is beaten down bad. The room we were in (sold as apartment :) was in very poor state of maintenance. Wall paper peeling or completely ripped, power sockets not working, carpet not clean, shower with missing and moldy grouting, curtains in disrepair and wrong size for the windows etc. etc. Windows were of poor quality- you could hear the traffic from the (busy) street outside day and night. Staff were all friendly, but they lack customer service skills and definitely lack efficiency. Shortly after we checked in, I asked for two extra pillow cases (there were two spare pillows and duvet literally thrown in the closet) and mentioned that the remote is missing from the room. We came back almost 8hrs later and there was still no remote in the room and no pillow cases either. Asked for iron- was told all irons are given and i should check in the morning if i want one. HKP would take over the entire (already narrow) corridor with bags of dirty laundry and carts. I haven't stayed in such a poorly run Best Western ever. We chose the place due to it's proximity to a place i needed to go for a meeting- next time we'll stay near the airport where there are better hotels.

Номера не соответствуют фотографиям на 100%. Все давно устаревшее, обшарпанное. Я впервые сталкиваюсь с отсутствием сервиса. Уборку за 4 дня не сделали ни разу, не вынесли мусор, вообще не заходили даже в номер. Номер был прокуренным до ужаса. Вообщем одни негативные впечатления. Расположение нормальное, интернет хорошо работает, завтрак ну так себе, тоже пойдет.

We stayed in the "deluxe" room which was really sweet. The room was round, and very big with a seperate seating area and a huge bathroom. This was at the top of the hotel and was reached via a small spiral staircase - so probably not the best if you have mobility issues (or lots of baggage) Bed was comfy. Shower was not the hottest but adequate. The girl on reception was very nice and helpful, with excellent english. Breakfast was good, but unfortuately the restaurant was shut for dinner on the evening we arrived (even though the description boasts a restaurant) I can't comment on any other ameneties as we couldn't find them! Hotel is within walking distance of main shopping/eating areas so plenty of restaurants in vicinity. Not very happy at having to pay 10 Euro to park the car over-night (especially as this is neither my currency nor Bulgarian currency) we parking in the underground car park but were told we would have to pay the same to park on the pavement outside the hotel.

non mi è piaciuta.. in camera era freddo.. il signore ci ha ricevuto volendo affibbiarci altre camere a maggior prezzo di quelle prenotate.. considerando poi il prezzo concordato nella prenotazione ha cercato di inserirci in una sola camera mentre ne avevamo prenotate due... quindi c'è voluta una seria discussione per ottenere quanto prenotato

Good prices in a good location
Close to a metro station and downtown in general. Pretty comfortable and very inexpensive for the location. My only problem was the dining room for breakfast as it felt like sitting in a deep freezer.

The value for money is quite good, but the room was decrepit, with taken off wallpaper, broken sofa, damaged furniture... Location is OK, 15 minutes walk to downtown Sofia.

Stayed 4 weeks , bedding changed once and towels 4 times. Room was never cleaned including bathroom. To in room did not work as cables were broken, ended up fixing it myself .Was stuck in lift for an hour and then it was out of service for a week. Complained at the end and was told that the room was cleaned regular etc, ad in future they hope I find another hotel to my standards. In other words don’t come back !

Pretty good with minuscule issues
I chose this hotel because it's close to the pub where I usually go to hang out with my Bulgarian friends. The free breakfast also affected my decision. On that note, the breakfast was not bad at all. The hotel itself is mostly fine, and has pleasant staff. I had very brief encounters with three different people for different reasons, and each one left me content. The location is also nice, as it is near a metro station as well as a mall with a fairly large supermarket, not to mention the walkable distance to Vitosha Boulevard and all that. The only things that weren't perfect were the bendy shower head which I had to fix with a chewing gum, and the difficulty I had reaching the power outlet to plug in my laptop. The balcony was a nice plus, too. I'd stay there again, especially at these rates.
