From the moment we stepped in to this hotel we were blown away. The staff were superb and the unexpected upgrade to sea view took our breath away (and was very much appreciated). This was our first trip abroad as a couple in over 20 years and everything about this hotel made it very very special. The decor, location, breakfast, amazing staff and sea views. We were sad to leave but will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Loved everything about this hotel! Very old world, beautiful in every way. The staff is very helpful, and you are walking distance from the heart of Sorrento. Highly recommend it for families traveling with children.

Our hotel concierge service was exceptional, similar to what one would expect at a luxury resort. Before our visit, we bombarded concierge staff with email questions which they readily answered, in English. During our stay, they advised us, made multiple dinner reservations for us at some of Sorrento’s most popular restaurants, and arranged for us chauffeur-driven excursions. We highly recommend this hotel for many reasons, and one being the helpfulness of the front desk staff. Thank you all again for your exuberant hospitality!

I’ve been to Sorrento many times but this is the first time I stayed at this hotel and I’m glad I did the service the room my view the bar everything was fantastic. Can’t wait to go back.

Hotel antigo , localização muito boa com lindas vistas do mar . O jardim tbm muito bonito , bem como as áreas comuns . Já o quarto totalmente decepcionante . Banheiro apertado , chuveiro super antigo esparramando água pra todos os lados , e com banheira embaixo , bastante inconveniente e perigoso ! Camas estreitas ! Mas o pior é o café da manhã ! Quase sem frutas , e quando acabam não repõem ! E quem quer comer maçã ou pêra cortadinhas no café ? Era só o que tinha ! O restaurante para jantar com avaliações muito ruins , resolvemos nem experimentar! Necessita de modernização dos quartos e melhora no restaurante !

The view from our balcony was amazing, keep in mind this is a fabulous old hotel and the hotel rooms are small.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and had an amazing time. The views from the lounge and bar are exceptional. The pool was a great benefit and easy access to the beach from the private lift was ideal. The staff were all wonderful and extremely attentive. We would highly recommend staying here.

This historic hotel has the feeling of elegant days gone by. Its staff are extremely professional and take pride in all of their roles as valued members of the team. Dining was a pleasurable experience both breakfast and dinner made to feel very welcome by Jack the maitre d’ and his colleagues. Giuseppe the bartender was amazing with his cocktail preparation and service.

Great location!
We loved the hotel and its location, it is a great hotel and very clean. We found that some of the staff, not all, were too serious and not very friendly. We personally like to be greeted with a smile and not feel as if we are burdening anyone.

The location of the property itself is great and easy access to the beach club and walkable to all the restaurants in Sorrento. However, the rooms themselves are outdated, had an odd smell and the beds were extremely uncomfortable.

We stayed 4 days at the hotel. The location is convenient in the center of Sorrento and very close to the port. The service was generally good except for Mr. Vito at reception who doesn't have a very friendly attitude. The breakfast was good. The rooms need better maintenance and cleaning, could use a renovation, everything is very old. The view is spectacular.

Hotel Tramontano
Fantastiskt läge men mycket att göra vad gäller säkerhet och underhåll. Undermålig skyltning av nödutgångar och mycket var sunkigt i rummet (mycket var trasigt). Dålig standard på toaletter speciellt vid poolen. Fasaden på byggnaden var trasig på flera ställen. Frukosten var trist. Kalla stekta ägg och 80% sötsaker. I ett land som erbjuder så mycket frukt och grönt bör man inte servera konserverade päron. På andra hotell jag bott på serveras mycket färsk frukt och äggen tillagas "on demand" med en speciell kock. Totalt knappast värt 5000 SEK natten

Property is nice but needs update at least the bathrooms terrible beds are really uncomfortable, service desk ok but not worried too much about the guest they just simple want your money , you feel that way , at the location and the warmer is not there seems like all the employees are force to act fake I have been traveling for entire month in Europe and many hotels during this trip but really this one was the most expensive and the worse , my room was cold and dark I’m ask to. Upgrade and change but they never reach out to us definitely not recommend May be if is the last option but there is too many around and better

The property itself is beautiful with a wonderful view of the ocean. The public areas lobby, pool, restaurant are nicely maintained but the rooms are outdate, with uncomfortable beds and an air conditioner that doesn’t keep you cool.
