Welcome to Practical Harbor by the Beach #3
This comfortable-yet-basic condo is walkable to oh so much - and puts you
close to everything South Padre Island has to offer. If location is your
priority, this is a great fit. You’re less than 100 yards from the beach and
within a 5-minute stroll of restaurants, bars, shops, and family-friendly
attractions—while still being a very budget-friendly SPI rental.
The Space
* 2nd -floor condo (no stairs) in a small 4-unit building that will require the use of stairs
* Quiet, small backyard pool shared only with the other 3 condos
* Clean, simple interior with all-tile floors and high ceilings
* Eat-in kitchen counter plus a cozy corner-bench dining area, perfect for family meals or board games
The condo has 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. We allow up to 8 guests,
including babies and toddlers, though the sleeping setup works best when some
guests are children.
* Master bedroom: King bed with private en suite bathroom
* Guest bedroom: Full-over-full bunk bed with twin trundle underneath
Living room: Standard couch (not a sleeper sofa) + queen airbed provided
(please bring extra bedding if you plan to use the airbed)
Kitchen & Amenities
The fully equipped kitchen includes pots, pans, utensils, and dinnerware so
you can cook at home and save a bit during your stay. You’ll also have an in-
unit washer and dryer, which is especially convenient for families and longer
trips. This property does not have a dishwasher unfortunately
BBQ grills are welcome to bring—just please grill in front of the building,
not near the pool area, as that space is shared by all guests. The 2nd floor
condos here we like a tad more as there is a small patio off the master where
you can enjoy a drink or view the pool
We provide:
* Fresh towels and bed linens
* A starter supply of soaps and trash bags (not unlimited or resupplied)
* Coffee, filters, creamer, sweetener, tea, non-stick cooking spray, and salt/pepper (also not unlimited or restocked during your stay)
* For stays longer than 3 nights, you’re welcome to exchange towels and linens for free at our office: South Padre Trips, 2600 Padre Blvd and the Office open 7 days a week, and we answer phones 24/7—a rare perk with local hosts.

Gravity Park with go-karts and mini golf nearby—great for kids
If you’re traveling with a larger group, we manage all four condos in this
building and can help you book multiple units. The layouts and interiors are
nearly identical.
Condition & Management
This condo is older and not remodeled, but it is fully functional, well-
maintained, and represents such as smart value for families - also enjoy a
professionally cleaned space by South Padre Island Trips, the best local
management company on the island. Stairs are required as this is a second
floor condo.

* Up to two pets allowed for an additional fee (please ask before booking) - Pets are not allowed in the pool area & Pets should not be left alone to bark
We also offer significant off-season discounts from September 15 to December
15, and special discounts for veterans and active-duty military. Send us a

House Rules & Policies
Please read and agree to all house rules before booking. We do have a strict
cancellation policy, so feel free to ask any questions first—we’re happy to
help and want you to arrive with clear expectations.
Primary renter must be 23+ years old and present at check-in
If you are under 23, you must contact us before booking, as additional
damage/security deposit requirements apply to comply with property rules
This is not a party property and we do security patrols at night with Quiet
hours: 10 pm – 9 am, therefore no loud music is allowed at any time. Please,
No smoking. No parties. No exceptions.
Check-in: 3 pm | Check-out: 11 am - Our City of South Padre Island short-term rental license number available upon request
Rental Agreement & Check-In
To comply with city licensing and community rules, we require: you to e-sign
rental agreement after booking with a photo ID attached to verify age
You’ll receive the rental agreement via e-sign; once completed, we’ll send
your electronic door code. Your door code will be texted to the phone number
on file by 3 pm on the day of arrival We cannot release codes earlier, as we
need to avoid guests arriving before cleaning is complete or parking early If
you’d like an earlier check-in, please contact our office around 1 pm on the
day of arrival and we’ll see what’s possible
